I have my Associates of Applied Sciences in Animal Welfare, where I learned a lot about caring for not only dogs, but cats and other domestic animals. I know how to administer medicine orally, intravenously, and subcutaneously. I can spot and understand the signs of illness, and am versed in which substances and foods are toxic to pets. If your dog is untrained, in training, or you need assistance training, I have both the experience and patience to help. I have worked with dogs of all levels during my shelter tenures. I know how to handle both energetic and shy dogs! I believe in enrichment and making the animals as happy as you can make them; that variety of play and stimulation is important for both cats and dogs. Personally, I had dogs with a former roommate for 3 years, and have volunteered in shelters, completed a shelter internship and worked at an animal shelter full time. My wife and I currently have four cats, and love every minute of it.
