Loving Your Pup Like My Own!

Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Christalle, and I'm a freelance creative that loves pups. My husband, Brek, and I have been happily together for 20 years. Our three-bedroom home, with a fenced backyard, is a calm environment for your pet to relax and take naps, and the nearby parks offer plenty of green space for your doggy to run and play fetch! Brek and I work from home and are available to pamper your pooch - stop by for a meet and greet! :) We just love dogs - we may actually be part canine - but maybe not, still waiting on the test results. We started dog sitting to ease our way back into puppy parenthood after losing our furball, Ryleigh, to cancer in 2010. Since joining up with Rover, we have met some of the best dogs/humans and were inspired to take the leap again. "Sadie The Tiny Terror" joined us on National Dog Day 2015. :) Sadie is a 20lbs, Yorkie/JRT/mystery pup mix, that was rescued from Los Angeles. She is super friendly with other pups and kitties (still warming up to human invaders) and rests happily in the 'submissive' role. She's high energy and super cute - Sadie is ready to make new FURiends. (including folks that could pup-sit her in return) We have an open front yard and a fenced backyard. There is a deck in the back for your pup to relax. The front yard has plenty of shade under the tree, but your pup(s) will have to be leashed in the front yard. Our backyard has plenty of room for your pup(s) to run around and play or bask in the sun. Inside, your pup(s) can enjoy our new "pup room!" We've dedicated a bedroom to our pup friends, with baskets of toys, a treat closet, pup puzzle toys, natural aromatherapy, alkaline water-filled bowls, and a window to watch for birds & squirrels from the bed. Since we had a pup with cancer, we have plenty of experience administering medication. There are some tricks up our sleeves for those picky pups! All three of us are looking forward to meeting your furry friends. Please reach out to me with any questions, and we can't wait to meet you! 🐶 You can follow our pup adventures on Instagram @christalletwomey ** PLEASE NOTE, I DO NOT ACCEPT NEW CLIENTS WITHOUT A MEET-AND-GREET BEFOREHAND OR DOGS OVER 40 LBS. (No exceptions.) Providing a safe and loving environment for my family, and your pup is my top priority!! **

I am super careful and nervous about leaving my dog with anyone, and this was the 1st time I've left him at a sitter, rather than having someone stay at the house. I no longer worry!! He had such a great time with Christalle, Brek and their dog Sadie! They communicated his day/night with me, sent video, and you can tell they are knowledgeable and caring about their "guests." Such a relief to me to have found them! Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best Rover sitter we've had. Plenty of pictures and updates. My senior pup had a wonderful time and we'll be sure to book with Christalle in the future.

Christalle did an amazing job with our pup for her first time away with a Rover caregiver. Christalle was so relaxed and good natured and you can tell she really loves animals. She was so kind to our Rosie and helped relax her by letting her sit up on the back of her couch looking out the window just like she does at home. She practically hand fed her to get her to eat and give her tons of love and attention. I received tons of pics and communication throughout the day which helped ease a pups moms nerves! It didn't take long before I was getting reports that Rosie and Sadie were having a great time playing together! I will definitely use her services again! Thank you so much Christalle!

We really appreciate Chrystelle’s great care of Piper (for a full week!). She treated Piper like family and gave me regular updates (and photos).

Information Christalle T. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs such as medication, physical limits, environmental triggers, allergies, or behavioral issues. As a former owner of a pup with cancer, I am familiar with the special needs some animals may have, and I have the patience necessary to deal with any unfortunate circumstances. Compassion is key! ** PLEASE NOTE, I DO NOT ACCEPT NEW CLIENTS WITHOUT A MEET-AND-GREET BEFOREHAND OR DOGS OVER 40 LBS. (No exceptions.) Providing a safe and loving environment for my family, and your pup is my top priority!! ** I DO NOT ACCEPT SITTING REQUESTS FROM MULTIPLE CLIENTS FOR THE SAME DATES. I will accept multiple pups from one client. (I do make exceptions for pick-up and drop-off days, upon client’s approval.)

A typical day

In addition to neighborhood walks, we have two parks close by. There are trails and sidewalks with plenty of green spaces in both parks, not to mention shade, for when your pup needs a rest. Your pup is welcome to sleep on our bed, on the floor beside our bed, or in our pup room. You can bring your pup's bed, or we can offer a bed & blankets for your pup to sleep in. My husband and I both work from home, so we will be with your pup all day. Many pups have separation anxiety these days, as people work longer hours and travel more often. Keeping your companion company and entertained will be key to helping ease their minds and help them to feel comfortable while you're away. We do not leave your pup alone at any time during their stay to ensure their safety.
