I've been an animal lover all my life and started house sitting for farmers and ranchers as a teenager. I've taken care of dogs, cats, cattle , and horses. In my adult years I've volunteered extensively with rescue and fostering, with a specialization in Pitbull breeds. I also volunteered with pregnant dog foster groups, which involved fostering a mother dog through the birth of her puppies and then finding them all forever homes. I have two wonderful fur babies of my own now. We lost our senior dog this year after a brave battle with a brain tumor. We knew we had to save another life, and honor his memory, and adopted a wonderful Pitbull we named Odin.
