Growing up, I always had cats and dogs, and therefore have experience caring for animals. I currently have two cats and a pit bull and will treat your furbabies like my own! I have always had a huge passion for being around and caring for animals. I feel that they really are one’s best friend; a true companion. I also believe that they help people and are a good means of therapy for those suffering from a variety of emotional and/or physical problems. Furthermore, working with pets doesn’t feel like “work” per say as I love the time I get to care for them and am very happy doing this type of work. Just as I care for the well-being of children as a nanny and previously a teacher, I also care for the well-being of pets. Animals deserve the same respect and care as any human. I would like to be a part in making a difference in society regarding animals, and I believe this is the way I can help. I am confident I will be able to satisfy client needs for their pets and provide care that will allow both the clients and pets to feel comfortable with me. I have the ability to be an independent worker, and thus am reliable as I understand clients depend on the employee to always be there on time. I am good at following rules, which I think is really important as you have to be on the same page as the client and follow their precise instructions to ensure a successful and professional relationship. Communication ensures this as well, and I have great interpersonal skills that will be ideal for a pet sitter. I will make sure to send pictures via text to communicate with how your pet is doing, which always helps ease owners of their worries. I want the owners to know that their pets are in safe, good hands and open communication helps with this and is very important to maintain a positive relationship. I am available for breakfast visits, lunch visits, dinner visits, late visits, and overnights 7 days per week. I have open availability and a flexible schedule. I am avaiable on short-notice and on holidays. I have provided pet sitting and pet walking for one family member, and for another I provide overnight long-term pet sitting (up to two weeks at a time.) You can be certain that your pets will get plenty of attention, love and playtime with me. I have been in a lot of homes and I very trustworthy, affable, patient, fun, and attentive.
