There are two things I really love more than anything else in this world: dogs and watching reruns of The Office. I know that last part might or might not resonate, but I think we’re all here because we adore our wonderful, loyal furry best friends! I’ve always grown up with dogs and right now I’m a dog mom to a Beagle-Lab mix puppy named Milo who is a social butterfly and constantly looking for cuddles. My unconditional love for him has made me realize that I want to provide the best dog care for other dog parents just as I’d like to receive for Milo when I’m away and can’t take him with me. I can’t imagine leaving my beloved pup with just any stranger, so I want to offer my services and give you some peace of mind in the process. I have experience with many breeds of dogs, but mainly large dogs: Great Danes, Boxers, and Labs were very common in my family growing up. However, we also had smaller breeds like Terriers and small mixed rescues. I volunteered at a local no-kill animal shelter last year and helped take care of puppies in need of socialization. Puppies are babies––they need kindness, patience, and a caring nature to help them reach their full potential––so it’s a huge responsibility. I’ve always been a nurturing and optimistic person and I enjoy gift giving for both humans and animals alike––even if they’re small gestures to show how much I care. I also enjoy the quiet moments after a nice long walk in the morning: planning my week ahead in a journal with a cup of warm coffee while Milo snoozes on my lap. It’d be even greater to add another furry friend to the mix. Milo and I spend a lot of time at our favorite nearby dog park called the Danny Jackson Bark Park. I am at home full time and have a very flexible schedule, so I am ready and at your service! My husband will be around to help keep your pup company as well, he is also a dog lover and has owned pups all his life. I enjoy playing fetch with my puppy, trying new recipes and going to different restaurants, and working out. I try to lead a balanced life, so your pup will get plenty of exercise and fresh air, as well as belly rubs and cuddles as we doze off every night.
