Loving & Reliable Dog Sitter
Pet care experience
A little about me: I am 32 years old and moved to Charlotte almost 3 years ago. I am an Academic Advisor for the University of Arizona and I also teach part-time as an Adjunct Professor - both completely online. I have had pets my entire life. I currently have an Old English Sheepdog, named Calvin, who is 1.5 years old. I have 15+ years of dog sitting experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. Before I moved to Charlotte, I was a volunteer at the local animal shelter in NJ - MCSPCA. I can potentially have another dog in my home, but would need to have a meet & greet with my dog to make sure it's a good fit. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule. I can also do overnights if needed. I am extremely reliable and punctual. I treat all animals in my care as if they were my own. *Would request a meet & greet for all new clients prior to booking. *I am fully vaccinated + booster.
Reviews
Chrissy took great care of our cats! She was quick to respond and send us pictures which I really appreciated. I look forward to working again with her in the future.
Chrissy was absolutely amazing and took such great care of six year old 60lb collie/pit Jackson. Jackson can be a little shy with new people but warmed right up to Chrissy. We were sent lots of cute pictures of Jackson while traveling and it really gave us peace of mind that he was being so well cared for. We couldn’t recommend Chrissy enough and look forward to using her services again in the future.
Chrissy was absolutely the best sitter I’ve ever had. I’m so impressed with her follow up and a communication. I just can’t say enough good things about her. I highly recommend her above anyone if you want the very best care for your loved ones.
Chrissy was AMAZING! We were heading out of town and having trouble finding an opening given the holiday weekend. Chrissy responded immediately to our request, was flexible with our schedule for the meet and greet, and went above and beyond for our pups! They clearly loved her visits as shown in the many pictures and videos Chrissy shared while we were away. Leaving your dogs can be stressful but I can honestly say Chrissy gave us peace of mind our entire trip! Best pet sitter experience I’ve had on Rover!!

Information Chrissy S. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog require any care needs outside of food, water, play, etc.? What is your dog's favorite activity? Is there anything that triggers your dog? Is your dog allergic to anything that you're aware of? Are there any behaviors I should be aware of or look out for? How is your dog on a leash?
A typical day
I know how important it is to stimulate a dog both physically and mentally. Allowing them to sniff while on a walk is important! Depending on the circumstance, I would actively play in the yard or go for a long walk in addition to playing inside the house. If your dog is a cuddler, I'm all for that too!
