Pet care experience
After my 13yo Golden Retriever and 15yo Border Collie passed away, I enjoy the time with dogs I care for as an intermiate step before taking on a new pet family member. Being a past owner of 2 medium/large dogs, I understand the difficulty of finding a caretaker. So, I'm pleased to assist current pet owners with the ability to travel and know their animals receive great care and plenty of love. I am an athlete and happy to get dogs out on the trail for hikes. Likewise, I cared for both my dogs through their senior years and am happy to help animals in and out of doors or into cars. Any medication or special needs are welcomed. It is an honor to have dogs in my life. It is important to dog owners that their pets are safe and well cared for while traveling. I'm here to help and have a very flexible schedule.

If I could give Chris 10 stars, I would. We've never had such a solid, steady, and caring dogsitter as Chris before. All three of our dogs really took to him right away. It was reassuring to know that he was a calming presence with all of them as they can get worked up sometimes. He took care of our fish, plants, and house really well, too. We wouldn't hesitate to ask him again. You are lucky if you're able to have him take care of your pups!
It was great having Chris house sit my dog. It was my first time using Rover and I was a bit skeptical having someone stay at my home that I did not know. Chris came over the day before and we met and I immediately felt like my dog will be in good hands. He took pictures every day and was great at communicating. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a house sitter.
When Chris came out and meet with the pups he came off as one of the few people I spoke to who genuinely seemed interested in them and spending time with them. He seemed trustworthy and willing to help. After 9 days with the 3 of our dogs he managed to survive! He sent pictures of them on walks, and watched the house for us. He also kept with their routines with a quick and easy transition for them back into standard life. Couldn't be more pleased, will be turning to Chris for help when we are out of the town again in the future.
Chris and his wife were fantastic dog sitters! They were able to accommodate a last minute booking and were flexible with their schedule. Our dog was returned very relaxed and tired after a long day of playing with their new puppy. Would definitely book again if we’re in the area.
