Genuine dog lover! Services are provided for the joy we receive in your dog's companionship. 100% of our proceeds are donated to our favorite canine non-profits and research organizations. Located in Bayou Vista, a safe neighborhood with gorgeous views, with an enclosed backyard. For stays over 7 days, ask for a complimentary doggy bath so they're returned feeling clean and extra special! Due to the nature of my care, there is no guarantee that your dog will want to return home with you 😁 Valid Rabies Vaccination is required. Microchip and dog tags recommended. All dogs must be well behaved, friendly, and house trained. What to pack for bookings: Pet ID on Collar or Harness *Leash *Dog Food *Poop bags *Any medications or treatments *Anything else you desire, such as toys and bedding. I have experience caring for seniors, and dogs that have anxiety, including my own (RIP Phoenix 2022 ❤). If one is showing signs, such as whimpering, howling, or prancing around the house nervously, I speak to them in a soothing tone. I'll offer them an activity or a treat to try and distract them, or blanket to calm them. If this doesn't help I would contact the owner and discuss what works best for them, if it wasn't already addressed during the meet and greet with the family. ***Important: No aggressive dogs. We had an amazing experience with how much Chris and his family cared for our Rottie Luna while we were away on a cruise. Chris and his family opened their home up to our dog and she had free roam of the house and was treated like she was their own pet. Luna was treated to family events and ball throwing. She enjoyed the grass/fenced in backyard. He went above and beyond and shopped for supplies for her too. Chris sent sent pictures during the stay and kept us updated on her status. We wish we lived closer to be able to routinely board with him. I would definitely recommend Chris and his family to anyone without hesitation.

Safety Plan Discussion: I intend on only dog sitting from one owner at a time, for as many dogs that the owner requires. No double or overlapping bookings will be made. I will not overlap bookings at all, for peace of mind. The yard is great for days when it is not too hot or raining. No dog will easily escape... This will be prevented by monitoring all dogs while they are outside. During daily walks, your dog will be on a leash. And no dog will be booked without proper ID on their dog collar. Lastly, we have no kids to worry about during the sittings. We currently have no pets, only those we carry with us in our hearts. 100% of our proceeds have been donated to the following organizations, on behalf of our beloved companion, Phoenix: -American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation, specifically to the Oncology (Hemangiosarcoma) Research Program Area -Morris Animal Foundation -The National Canine Cancer Foundation -Canine Cancer Research Alliance

Neighborhood walk or run up and down the canals. We take good dogs on rides to the beach or for sunset cruises if they have a permission slip.
