In Home Care for your Fur Baby
Pet care experience
We have a 7-year-old Border Collie and Corgi mix rescue named Lucy who gets along great with other dogs and a 13-year-old cat, Abbey, who is an upstairs-only cat since one of our frequent dog visitors does not like cats. We love our pets and for most of our lives we've had at least two at any given time. Our family used to volunteer at PAWS when our children were younger, about 15 years ago. In addition to dogs and cats, we've had a rabbit, Simba; a bearded dragon, Drake; a corn snake, Slither; and various parakeets, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, and fish. I would love the opportunity to take great care of your pet and keep them safe and happy and give you peace of mind.

My two dogs love going over to Chris' house! They have been going to her house for years. She has a great fenced in yard they love to explore. My dogs get along great with her dog Lucy. The three of them love lounging on the sofa, playing, and going on walks! I would highly recommend contacting Chris the next time you need a sitter for your fur baby!

We'd like to know if the dog is friendly with other dogs? Cats? Is the dog food aggressive? Is the dog house broken? Up on all shots? Who is the vet of choice in case of emergency? We'd like to arrange a time to let our dogs get to know each other. When we're going to watch a new dog, we invite the dog and his/her family over. In the front yard, we introduce the dogs and let them spend 5 minutes or so on leash. If all looks good, we go into the backyard via the side gate. There we drop their leashes and stay close while they explore the yard and get to know one another. Again if all goes well, we'll take them off leash. After another 5-10 minutes, we'll all go inside.
A typical day
We generally walk in the neighbor, at a nearby 0.5 mile path or on a trail at a nearby park. We play tug of war and fetch with toys. We love to give plenty of attention - talk, hug & pet our dogs.
