Sitter was enthusiastic and answered most communication quickly. Did not send any pictures as asked. Home seemed chaotic and disorganized. No idea how many hours my dog spent alone or in a kennel in his home. Picked up dog late on 14th and due to unpacking and my fatigue and his dark nose color did not notice until morning of 15th that his nose was injured. There were dark scabs on top of his nose and his jowls were swollen and covered in scabs.Was not injured when I dropped him off. Either the sitter did not notice or he noticed and decided not to let me know. Now, 10/23, mostly healed but has pink scarring on muzzle and jowls now. Sitter did not offer any explanation when contacted about this. Looks like he was bitten? by sitters other dog. His bed had garbage in it- an ink pen, some plastic tabs, things that could have hurt my dog had he ingested them. Sitter also did not return my measure cup for feeding. Will not use this sitter again.
