Availability
I want to “up” my interaction with my furry friends. I am up early and go to bed late so I am open to drop in visits and dog walking most of the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced backyard that backs up to a forest. I will be happy to take care of your dog the same way that you take care of them.
Information Chris R. would like to know about your pet
I like to know if your dog is aggressive to other dogs or people. I would also like to know if I will need to provide medications. I also like to know their little "nuances" - they like but rubs, belly rubs, etc. Lastly, I would like to know what their walking preferences are - walk and sniff everything or brisk non-stop walk or etc.
A typical day
My two Westies get at least 2 walks a day. I will typically walk them as far as they want to go (that’s usually 3-4 miles a day in total). About once a week, we like to go to the forest preserve where they can take in all the new smells. Also, once or twice a week we will try a new or different venue for walking to mix things up a bit. They love to play in the yard chasing balls and just goofing around. When the day is all done, we retire to the bedroom where they snuggle up with me and their two kitty friends.

Cats are not dogs!
Cat care experience
I was introduced to cats when I was a little kid. My neighbors had cats and I would take care of them when they were out of town. I did not get my own cats until the early 90s when I met my wife. She had two Siamese cats and I have had them ever since. I currently have two American Shorthairs in addition to my two Westies. My male cat actually thinks he is a dog and wants to go outside with the Westies and sits and waits for treats when they come back in. He also will stand at my feet with the dogs waiting for me to drop something while I am cooking.
Reviews

Thanks Chris for the last minute help! You are awesome!

Chris is a dog lover! He is very caring, respectful, always prompt and helpful. My dogs love him. Mostly he just walks them, but on occasion has fed and walked them while I was away for the afternoon. Great communication about visits, dog behaviors etc. Great guy!
Chris always takes amazing care of our cat!!

Chris is a fantastic walker for our boy Atlas! Atlas enjoys his company. Chris is definitely someone you can trust to care for your pup.
