Your dogs new home away from home!

Pet care experience

I have been a sitter/boarder for Rover for around 4 years now and I have been boarding/training dogs for close to 15 years. I live in Madison and I have a fantastic home to watch your doggies. We will go on walks and I have a great backyard to play in. I give special treats once a day but will shower your fur baby with treats in general, haha. I offer your pets the same love and care I offer mine. I try to give a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners. Did I mention that I love dogs. I have been taking care of animals my entire life. I am an experienced trainer and I am very comfortable with administering any needed medications. I strive to maintain a fun, loving, and nurturing environment for my dog and other’s dog because I would want the same. I will send updates often via text and include photos to ensure that you the owner is at ease knowing your loved one is being cared for and having a great time. I am able to accept drop offs at my house and willing to pick up/drop off your dog if needed. My main goal is if you are unable travel with your pet that you have the peace of mind knowing you dog is great hands. I do work a full time job (weekdays) but I work from home now so I am able to offer even more playtime with your fur babies during the day. Even though a crate is required when staying here I do not leave them in it for long stretches. I would not want my fur baby locked up for long periods so I will not do that to yours. I have a large fenced in yard on a quiet street. I am accustomed to boarding multiple dogs at a time and have been very successful in eliminating most cases of food aggression. We will spend ample time playing either inside or outside if weather permits. I do require a crate when staying to help keep the dogs safe while feeding and when left alone.

Great experience and communication from Chris. Our little dogs were nervous with new space and larger dogs, they were happy and adjusted when we picked them up

Our pups did great with Chris and we really felt comfortable with them in Chris's care. He provided photos and updates daily. After 8 days they came home happy and calm, unlike when they have been boarded at a kennel. We will def be using Chris again!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a great yard that is privacy fenced for playtime/potty breaks, I do require a crate when staying in my house for feeding times and if I leave. This is for all of the dog’s safety, food aggression is a real thing and I don’t take chances with it. However you dog will not be crated for long stretches except for when I need to leave for store runs or if I go to the movies. But I feel that is still less than if at a kennel or vet office.
