My partner and I have been dog sitting since 2014. We haven’t always been on Rover and got our start sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, this is something we greatly enjoyed doing and decided to take the next step and sign up. We offer in-your-home care to help lessen the stress on both you and your dog. Your home will be cared for while you are away, we will bring in the mail, take out the trash, and clean up after ourselves. More importantly, your dog will be in a familiar environment and we strive to follow your schedule. Between the two of us, someone should be available when your dog needs something. We do work together so you are booking both of us at one time, however, we may occasionally not both be available due to other commitments, in which case one of us will be providing all the care your pet needs. We will also respect and follow any rules or training you have in place for your pets. (No sitting on the furniture, people food, etc.) When contacting us please be aware that again this is myself and my partner, you are booking us together so that your pet will receive the best care. We would like to know a few things about our possible stay. Such as when will you be leaving and returning; including a possible time frame, not just the dates as we may need to adjust rates for late returns after 6 pm. Is your yard fenced? Does your dog have any behaviors like barking at the mail carrier, doesn't like men/woman/children/other dogs etc. Is your dog sometimes aggressive, if so what makes them that way? Anything else you think we should know to help us decide if we can provide proper care. Also, let us know if you have any expectations of us. We are comfortable administering medications in all forms, shots, orals, drops, topical. We are also comfortable with your special needs or elderly dogs. My family had a 12-year-old pug that was diabetic and used a wheelchair, so this is care we are used to giving. Between the two of us, your dog will get more than the attention they need, and you can vacation better. Feel free to call, text, or video chat anytime when your dogs are in our care. We know it can be stressful to leave your best friend behind! We are available for last minute, long term and short term house sitting in your home. If you travel for business or pleasure, week long, month long, or longer, we've got you covered. Willing to discuss long-term rates.
