Huge yard, Positive Reinforcement

I believe in dogs because they have a lot to teach us about the power of unconditional love.

When your pup is in my care, he/she will enjoy the same type of positive reinforcement and emphasis on mental stimulation that we use to encourage and teach our dog!

I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with orthopedic and health issues. Additionally, I'm happy to help your dog work on basic commands (sit ...

What Chris would like to know about your dog

Boarding is for repeat clients on approval, and I can only accept dogs for boarding that have good basic training (puppies are the exception to this), have a generally positive temperament, and who will LOVE playing with an exuberant, active smaller dog.

In the interest of their comfort and well being, boarding clients may not be fearful of children or other dogs as we have both here at home and in abundance in the neighborhood. Additionally, they may not be aggressive to either. If your dog has these anxieties, I am happy to arrange check-ins and walks in lieu of boarding.

Dogs who are known to be an escape risk (from homes, fences, and leash/harness) require an additional waiver. I want to keep your dog as safe as possible!

I have no breed preferences, and am happy to accept puppies! Additionally, I am happy to work with dogs who are RAW fed. Depending on the dog, crate training may be optional!

I do not use choke, prong, bark, or shock/e-collars; these are not tools that I know how to use and thus, I am unable to accept them with boarding dogs.

Please tell me about your dog, the more info the better!

When Chris watches your pet

I live in an area with miles of hiking trails and bike paths.

We also have a large, fenced yard full of things to explore; trees, wood chips, grass, rocks, and the scent of our abundant wildlife. I believe that dogs should be encouraged to explore, and then enjoy calm down time through mental enrichment such as puzzle toys and stuffed Kongs.

Because I'm home a lot, your dog will always get plenty of attention, potty breaks, and love!

Our small dog (a Parson Terrier) is full of energy and many boarding dogs go home tired and fulfilled from playing with him.

Walks and check-ins are available between the hours of 8am - 8pm.

In the case of extreme weather (over 90 degrees/hot sidewalks or blizzard conditions), walks may be indoor enrichment instead.
