Hi there! We are Chris & Giorgia, an Amsterdam based, dutch-italian 🇳🇱🇮🇹, couple that would love to help you out with your furry friends 🐶🐾 We are sure you would like to get to know us better before leaving us your best buddies so here are three things about each one of us. Chris loves 🐾 Wildlife photography (especially of African Wilddogs) 🌲 Taking long walks in the nature 🧑🏼🍳 Cooking asian food Giorgia loves 🍝 Eating out (or whatever Chris does) 🛋 Reading & cuddling on the sofa 🎨🧶 Starting new hobbies every month Now that you know more about us you must be wondering what our experience with pets is! Chris grew up in a Golden Retriever lovers household 🐶 He grew up together with multiple dogs and knows how to train and take care of most dog breeds and is really loving with animals as a whole! Giorgia never had a chance to have a pet of her own, but was surrounded by friends with pets for whom she frequently walked their dogs, or fed their cats while they were on holiday. She loves playing around, cuddling at home and is very responsible with the animals needs. We would like a dog of our own but at the moment financially this is not the right choice for us, hence why we would like to share all our love for the pets by helping people who are looking for sitters ❤️ We hope this gave you a good idea about us, but feel free to ask us any other questions! Giorgia and Chris looked after Blue while we were on vacation for 2 weeks. We arranged a meet up beforehand and Blue instantly felt at home. They sent regular pictures and kept to her routine and medication schedule. They played with her a lot and we could tell Blue felt safe and happy when we returned.
Chris and Giorgia are phenomenal pet sitters! They are incredibly clear communicators, kind and friendly, and truly gave our dog the most fun and enriching time while we were away. I absolutely hope that they will take Frenkie again in the future. We felt so confident having our pup in their hands, and would absolutely use them again and recommend to all who are looking for a sitter!
Chris has taken care of our dog for 3 weeks. Before confirming the reservation, Chris met with us and met our dog. Bambul liked Chris from the first meeting. After this I was sure that my dog will have a good time at the Chris place. We were constantly in touch with Chris. We were receiving photos and videos with Bambul while we were away. My dog had a great time! Chris, thank you very much!

We live in Amsterdam Nieuw-West in an 80 m2 apartment 3 minutes away from Sloterplas park, where we love to do some long walks with the good weather. There's plenty of space to walk and run in this area, on and off leash. We keep all dogs on the leash unless the owner instructs us otherwise and we feel safe with the dog being off-leash. We make our best to make the dog feel safe in the new environment adjusting as much as possible to the routine the dog already have in order to create the safest environment possible, with a lot of cuddles, games and walkies 🐾

We always like to know when the usual times are that the dog is walked and what their usual dinner times are. Alongside it's always good to know certain things the dog is scared of. - What are your usual walking and feeding times? - How long can your dog be left alone in the house? - Is your dog used to taking public transport? - How is your dog with other dogs in and outside the house?
A typical day
We love to go on long walks during the afternoon around the Sloterplas area. Dogs usually love it as there are both water and ponds as well as big open fields. We use this time also to train the dogs to the commands they already know or challenge them with something new! Inside the house we play with them with their toys and balls, and we try to enrich them with some games with low calories treats. (and of course we give them big cuddles too)

Availability
Myself and my girlfriend have the possibility to work from home throughout the week. If we get notice of a booking in advance we can easily organise our schedules so that at least one of us is home every day. During these work from home days it is no problem to provide your dog(s) with frequent walks and attention. When booked in advance we are usually able to walk dogs 4 times per day: Early morning 15 to 30 minutes (7-8), Lunch break 15 to 30 minutes (12-14), Afternoon long walk of 1 to 2 hours (17-18), Evening 15 to 30 minutes (21-22).
