We are so glad that we found Chris (on Rover)! Chris exceed all of our expectations! We wanted to take a week-plus trip. However, our dog was nearing the end - but not quite there - of a three-month recovery period following major orthopedic surgery. If we wanted to make the vacation a reality, we needed to find someone who would accept only one dog (ours), and did not have dogs of their own (at least not very active ones). When we read Chris's profile we had high hopes, and after asking some questions about our dog's needs and limitations, Chris agreed to host her. Upon arrival, it was clear that Chris and our dog quickly became comfortable with each other. Chris had a selection of toys and treats, and asked which ones he could give to her and use with her (they were all appropriate for her size and for her). We loved the photos & updates that he messaged to us several times while we were away. Our dog looked very happy, and content. We also appreciated that he provided plenty of stimulation by playing with her and taking her for walks and outings. Communication was easy and excellent. Overall, Chris's professionalism, interest, intelligence, and growing knowledge of physical issues resulted in a wonderful experience for our dog and for us. We look forward to having our dog stay with him again. We highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a dog sitter!
