Pet care experience
I have watched German Shepherds, Sheltie, Australian Shepherds,Rhodesian Ridgeback’s, Irish Wolfhounds, American Staffordshire Terrier’s, Standard Poodles, Basset Hounds, Flat-Coated Retrievers, Newfoundland’s, Rat Terriers, Bichon Frises, Westies, Corgis, Chihuahuas, & Pomeranians. I have a huge ❤️ for an All American Rescue! Being that I have had a few of my own! And I love & have years of cat ownership under my belt. As well as some more unusual animals. I have taught some beginner obedience classes. I also support my Confirmation and competitive obedience friends. Personally my fur babies are just my own forever homed rescue animals. I have had my own cats for years. I currently own a Russian Blue. And, I have watched numerous other different breed types & multiple cat personalities. I am an equal opportunity pet Auntie! I am comfortable with youngsters, & your standard crabby old lady/old man fur friends. I am comfortable doing the simple slipping iof medication in treats, & crushing tabs into soft food. I am also comfortable with other animal types. (Although unfair… I do have a pet mouse/ pet rat phobia. Sorry guys!!) But…. I’m good with dry food feeding hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, chinchillas, and some bug fed reptiles. I think the urban chicken coops are WAY cool too!

Chris E has been my fur babies care taker for numerous years. From my 13 yr old whom we lost this spring to my 3 yr old puppy days..anytime they need a care taker, Chris is my go to person. She messages me pictures everytime she stops in..so I know when she's been there and their current condition. My trips, be it just a long day or a 2 week journey, are more relaxed as I know they are well cared for.
Chris is a very caring individual that loves animals. Chris has been pet sitting for me for more than 10 years and I’ve never had one complaint. Even one of my cats will jump up on her before it will come to me. I trust Chris with my animal!

My animals are generally kept on a regular potty, exercise, & feeding schedule. They are exclusively inside animals. (Although I have watched rescues, & Thickly Furred Guardian breeds that do prefer to spend half/ part of their days outside in a well supplied & covered dog run, & the other part of their day inside.) I send texts (w/pictures) to owners of their pets EVERY visit. I can/ & do include ones of their food bowls. (As well as cleaned litter box pics.) I also take walkie and casual pet pictures as we visit while I’m there. I will also text any note worthy out of the ordinary behavior, or extra funny cuteness. (I can also bring in mail, newspapers, & delivered packages.)

Is the dog crate trained. Are they crate agressive? Are they a free roaming dog? Do they have anxiety issues… or any nervous habits? I am a soft touch.. So I need to know ANY food/treat allergies. (Or do you have any special instructions or medication that need to be given at each visit interval?)
A typical day
Each dog or household dog pack has their own family routine. I prefer to honor that,, & keep their walks & experiences with me as close to their normal daily experience as possible. Some like playing ball. Some like to help get the mail. Some dogs prefer to couch surf on top of you so they can get those extra lovings they feel they need in-between scheduled check-ins.

I currently have a fairly flexible schedule. So as long as the scheduled date, & time is pre-arranged I should be able to meet your families needs. * During the winter months ( & bad weather) I will ALWAYS somehow arrive to care for your animals while you are away. But the times, visit length, & prices will move to the holiday rate. To accommodate of my safe arrival there, & to make it back home.
