i just really love animals
Pet care experience
[My pronouns are they/them] I’ve taken care of and lived with cats for as long as i can remember. I feed and play with them, bathe them, take them to the vet, etc. I have more experience with cats, but I’ve also taken care of plenty of dogs. I’ve recently been around more dogs and been able to walk them, play with them, feed them, etc. I took care of my friend’s Vizsla for a full week (he’s a very energetic boy!), and several other friends trust me to cat- and dog-sit for them. When my friends have trips where they go out of town, they know they can rely on me to care for their babies.

Chris was a fantastic sitter!! She sent us news AND photos every time she came to feed our cats. She was great with the kitties. You can tell she loves animals. She is also a very nice person. I would definitely recommend her to others.

Chris is awesome! They have great and very timely communication. And the detailed report and pics of my pup from each walk instantly make me smile. I do not currently have any pets, but I have owned pets for my whole life until the last couple of years. I am familiar with gates, fences, pens, etc, and can learn and adapt to environments and any animals’ needs very easily.

I would like to know if any unique needs that your dog has, for example if they are blind or deaf, are nervous around strangers, how they interact with other dogs on walks, etc. I would like to know how old your dog is and what they enjoy on walks. I also want to know what you as an owner want out of the walk- do you want to tire your dog out, give them some exercise, let them use the restroom, play,etc?
A typical day
I love playing with dogs and learning what kinds of games they like to play. Do they like fetch? Tug of war? Hide and seek? I enjoy running and can run with your dog, or we can walk around your neighborhood and smell flowers. I

Availability
I do work full-time, but my work hours are very flexible! I am consistently available after 5 PM M-F, all day Saturday and Sunday, and can move hours around as needed M-F.
