I've been around dogs my entire life. My earliest memories are of my grandparents Beagle Bozo and my parents beloved Cocker Spaniel/Spitz mix named Sissy. In college I cared for the fraternity house Dalmatian which suffered from epilepsy. After college I adopted a Weimaraner named Parker who was my greatest companion for years to come. Parker and I both went through puppy and obedience training (which I think was more human training than dog training). We routinely visited the local dog park where we made friends with many dogs and their owners becoming familiar with the various breeds and their personalities. I even volunteered my time doing park maintenance, worked on park beautification projects with other members, and served as the president for a year. In his later years, I nursed Parker through several ailments including a hernia and a stroke. Unfortunately my buddy passed away a few years ago and he is dearly missed. I haven't had the heart to adopt another dog yet (which is partially due to my fidgety cat Keko that I adopted to keep Parker company) but I enjoy sharing the company of my friends dogs. Over the years I've alway been available to assist my friends with their dog sitting needs. Small or large I love all dogs and the joy they bring to their owners and the world.
