Never met a dog I didn’t like!
Pet care experience
I am great with dogs! I have one myself - but part time custody of a 13lb Havanese that comes with shared custody with my two dog-loving kids (ages 17 & 14). I also took in a stray cat over a few winters back and she gets along well with my pup and the handful of dogs she’s been around since. We all prefer small or medium-sized dogs. Lap dogs bacially. The fluffier and cuddlier they are, the better! Your pet will undoubtedly receive unparallelled love and affection from all of us! I live in the heart of Sewickley Village which is perhaps the most dog friendly place I’ve ever seen. We may have more dogs than people! Dog dishes on the street, dog friendly shops, plenty of parks, we even have a doggy bakery! And if your pupper isn’t the sociable type, my fenced-in yard will make him or her just as comfortable.

Rocky had another great visit/vacation with Chris! He was given lots of love, attention and walks each day. Chris kept us up to date with pictures throughout his stay. We were happy to be able to rebook with him!

Blue's stay with Chris was great--he got exercise with other dogs and made a new friend with Chris' dog Dulaney. I was so appreciative of the socialization as Blue was a relatively new rescue. Chris was also flexible as I needed a last minute booking--would definitely use Chris again!
Chris has been awesome. Lizzy now knows how to fetch! Highly recommended.

Simply the basics - food & walk schedules, play habits, interaction/socialization tips. I prefer to not book with special needs dogs. Although my heart goes out to them (and you as their human), I’ve just had a couple of experiences that made me change my policy.
A typical day
I have a great time walking dogs around town and am always happy to help out folks with their pet needs. I do run fairly regularly so could help run a dog if need be, but admit that I haven’t done a lot of that.

My job is hybrid with me flexibly going into the office one day a week (usually Tuesdays). I can usually adjust that day as needed to help you and your pet needs.
