Pet care experience
I love all animals but my heart is all dog! I will treat yours like I treat my own and spoil them where they will want to come back to play and snuggle with us! I’ve been a dog owner for 25 years and will love on your pup(s). You can expect lots of playtime (if they like) with Rudy who loves all of his dog friends. They will have a large, safe fenced yard and pet friendly home to explore. I’m a teacher and have summers to love your pet and during fall-spring and some holidays have them weekends.

Chris is the BEST. Very flexible and laid back. Finn enjoyed playing with her dog and came home exhausted. Will definitely book with her again in the future.
Chris is a very compassionate and nurturing person. She is a special education teacher and loves being with kids who have unique and specialized needs. She is patient with her students and gives them the time they need to be successful and confident. Her students respect her, and they feel safe and cared for when she is with them. These qualities are within her core and given that she is a dog loving person as well, these characteristics will serve her well being a pet caregiver. She has had many dogs throughout her adult years, and they are her pride and joy. I think she has taken more pictures of her dogs than her own kids! Well, maybe not.... but it seems that way! Without hesitation, I am able to recommend Chris as a pet caregiver extraordinaire!
Chris is an awesome dog mom. She spoils her fur baby’s like no other and is dependable and trustworthy. I have also seen the loving care she provides when dog sitting for others. We have a dog friendly open floor plan where your dog can have a luxurious stay while being supervised and kept happy & safe. Our yard is perfect for dogs as well as it is large, has areas where your dog can explore (even dig) and well fenced. Your dog will be considered ‘human’ in their home away from home and cared for with attention to details. We have a nice, quiet neighborhood where you see many people out walking their dogs, exercising and enjoying the beauty of nature. I’m overprotective of animals and kids alike. We have one small dog that is very friendly and a great playmate. For 25 years, each dog I’ve owned has lived long, full lives.

A typical day
I love to play with dogs and spend a good deal of time doing so. There are lots of toys and games to play like ‘keep away/hide and seek’. If the owner likes, we can visit the Sherwood Dog Park or Tualatin Dog Park. If your pup isn't tired out by my sweet, high energy Rudy then we will go for a walk or run. I'm a runner and have top of the line ‘dog’ gear to run or walk with your dog. If it is ok, treats are always available :). We also LOVE to snuggle on the couch with our little companions.

Availability
Our 2 year old ‘Rudy’ is our world-literally. Not only is it beneficial for him to have ‘friends’ to play with, it is equally beneficial for your dog. If they aren’t into the play scene, there are plenty of quiet places as well for rest. Rudy is with us 24/7 thus pet care is part of our everyday. We walk him in the morning and evenings and he loves sharing lots of toys, treats and naps. Furniture and beds are all places your pup is welcome and will fit right in!
