Nothing is better than seeing your dog smiling in the river while you are traveling or in a meeting. Your dog will be loved better than family. We start our day with big hugs and petting as dogs sleep in our room. Then it's a quick stretch in the backyard before we head to the river. We have lived here for years and have more than a dozen spots nearby where dogs can swim and enjoy nature on our hour long walks. If your dog is safe off leash, great as they can run with our Cody dog. It's your preference. After walks it is back yard play time! You would be shocked how much energy a dog has the first day in such an engaging environment. They can play for hours. Then it is crash time in the cool house where there are lots of places with beds or cool hardwood flooring. In many cases that turns out to be the lap of their choice (as you can see in the pictures). Dogs have a run of the house with access to all the furniture and a dog door for 24 hour access to the fenced back yard. What? Your dog doesn't know how to use the dog door? No problem, our Cody dog can teach your dog in minutes and has successfully trained tons of dogs. We are 2 adults at home 100% of the time to care for your loved one. We can give medications, special treatments or any special instructions. It's a dogs life. The only thing missing when they go home is that "My dog went to Chris' house and all I got was this lousy tee shirt". We offer pick up and drop off service as well for just $5. After a stay we are happy to wash your dog and their collar so they return fresh. Your dog will thank you! Doggie day camp - If you are not traveling and your dog is stuck inside all day how about doggie day camp? We pick up, go for our normal walk and play times. Guaranteed your dog will sleep well that night! Dog Walk - We are happy to pick up and drop off for dog walking. We pick up early in the morning and walk at the river for over an hour. Then we will bring them home to your house to sleep it off. Your dog needs that exercise. Is your dog shy or uncertain of other dogs? No problem. We live in a huge house and can section off parts of it for quiet time, more people time and less dog to dog time. We are experts at this and your dog will love it! * Free pick up and drop off for any dog that stays 4 nights or more up to 10 miles away. ** $5 pick up or drop off if within 5 miles, $10 for up to 10 miles, $15 for up to 15 miles. That is total distance from house to house 1 way. So if you live 4 miles away, it is $5 for the 8 mile round trip pick up or drop off. *** Free dog bath for dogs that stay 2 nights or more. **** 1 night consists of arriving any time in the morning (as early as 7:15 a.m.) until 12:00 pm the next day. If you are going to pick up after 12:00 noon and before 5:00 pm there is an additional $10 fee for day care. If you are going to pick up after 5:00 pm and before 9:00 pm the day care fee is $15. No pick ups after 9:00 pm. If you stay 3 nights or more any day care on the last day is free of charge, just come before 9:00 pm.
