Hi! My name is Chloe and I’m a student at UVA. I currently live with my own apartment with one roommate and have my own car. I love working with cats and dogs of all ages! I have been a regular volunteer at the SPCA for a span of two months and only stopped because of schedule conflicts. I have grownup in a household where there is always at least one animal present. I have had years of foster experience through the SPCA with cats of all ages. I have been one of the primary care takers for the family dog, an Australian shepherd. I have experience staying at someone else’s home to petsit, dropping in to visit pets and take dogs on walks, and boarding pets at my house. I’d be eager to put you in touch with some people I’ve pets at for before as references!

I do not crate pets unless specifically requested by the owner. When sitting in a clients home I leave everything just as I found it (unless the animal had an accident in which case I’d clean it up of course!). Your animal will be the only one in my home unless I check with you before hand about extenuating circumstances.

I would love to know if there are special dietary restrictions, specific bathroom schedules, and any behavior traits I should be aware of (barks at people outside, pulls a little on the leash, etc.)
A typical day
My neighborhood has sidewalks through out and close access to Rivanna trails so spending time outside and exercising is easy and a top priority. I’m also close to a large field where I can bring the dog to play tug or fetch!

Availability
I have a summer job that goes through July. I’ll be working 9-4 weekdays. But outside of work and on the weekends I’d love to help out with pet care. My schedule opens up a lot in august when the job ends!
