Pet care experience
As a Registered Nurse, caring is second nature for me. That being said, I have experience with various medication administration, continuous monitoring of breathing rate, regular skin checks (branches caught in fur, cysts) etc. and clearly no criminal background. I also have my own vehicle. I am currently very flexible as I'm just finishing my 1 year contract in a low-risk, preventative care setting (we do not see any patients with respiratory or covid-19 symptoms). I would love an excuse to go out for a walk, explore a new trail or stay-in and socialize with a pet to make a new friend during these strange, lonely times! I am more than happy to wear a mask, or take any precautions that would make you feel more comfortable with a stranger in your home/around your pet. As a nurse, I understand the value of individualized caring, tailored to your animals identified needs and goals - which would be established with you during a meet and greet! History I've loved dogs since I was born, BEGGED my parents for a dog, pretended I was a dog, you name it.. My first dog (my dad finally gave in) was a small-medium size wirehair terrier mix. I learned how to train from my dad, who is a sort of dog whisperer. My mom and I volunteered for the animal shelter in Timmins, and also fostered medically unstable pups (i.e., parvovirus puppy requiring isolation and application of a mixed bleach solution to any excrements/8 husky puppies who came in without a mother, requiring full care throughout the evening and overnight). Into my teenage years, we found, rescued and fell in love with a medium-sized border collie that had been kicked out of a van on a busy main road in my hometown (on my birthday.. It was meant to be). Initially very skittish and passive, her outgoing ball-driven personality outshines whenever we would visit with the sick, elderly or during community events as representatives of the St-Johns Ambulance therapy dog program. Did I mention she flourished to become a therapy dog? (Myself, a therapy dog handler). Everyone who has met her was flabbergasted at how well she behaved, played and listened. A year and a half ago, I left my border collie behind to keep my mom company, as her only child 'left the nest' and moved to Barrie to spread her wings! Although my background is mostly with small-medium sized dogs, I long for the day I have a long-haired, large dog by my side. We're not set on a breed yet, but golden retrievers, setters and doodles have a special place in my heart! I honestly love spending time with dogs, and miss having my black and white fur baby Bailey around. I became a pet sitter because I've got lots of love to give and spare time, but I can't have a dog of my own right now - so I'd love to care for yours! Enough about me, I'd love to hear about your precious member of the family!

Chloe was awesome! She did a great job visiting with and tiring out our two big dogs. We’ll definitely have her back again.
Chloe has been so great! She is very friendly and answers quickly. She is accommodating and I trust her with my pup! He was VERY tired after their walk! I recommend Chloe for any pup!
We trust Chloe wholeheartedly with our two dogs! She has loved our “furbabies” like they were her own. Chloe provided them with ample attention, playing catch and walking them numerous times throughout their visits. Both dogs look forward to seeing her every time. She is extremely responsible, flexible and a great communicator. She is also very attentive to the animals’ health and well-being. We wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of our dogs and would recommend her 100%.
Chole did a great job. She was able to help me last minute, took care to see if food and water were filled and updated me through the visit
