Chianti was available last minute. Communicated well. I would have liked to receive updates without having to check in and I did not receive any pictures. My pup seemed okay when we picked him up but he did vomit when we got home.
Dahlia came home happy and tired out. Just the way we like her!! Thanks, CJ. See you next time.
Thank you Chianti for looking after Plus!
Honestly, my experience with this sitter was not very positive. I can't say what she did and didn't do but I can share my observations: - Upon returning home, my apartment had a STRONG scent of urine--in the kitchen where he was to be gated and also there was a wet (read: fresh) urine spot on my new rug in the living room. I messaged her to see if he'd had an accident and she said she "didn't see one." The thing is, he was supposed to be gated when she wasn't here and otherwise supervised (my apartment only has two rooms for living space. When was he unsupervised that he relieved himself on the rug? Why did the kitchen smell like urine? He hasn't had an accident like that where he just pees in months since he was a puppy. - I instructed her to leave my keys and she didn't; we even had a conversation about it. I had to drive to her neighborhood to get them. - I left her my temp parking pass to borrow so she could park here and she took it with her. - I was really clear about him not being allowed on the couch bc I'm actually allergic to him. There is dog hair all over the couch. Again, when was he unsupervised that this happened? He was supposed to sleep in the bedroom with her and she didn't shower, so when was he alone in the apartment not being watched? - I'm honestly not even confident that she slept here as the bed looks exactly as I made it up. - He was really amped when we got home. You know how your dog is like amped when you've been gone for a bit but then there is AMPED when they've been left alone for awhile? He was the latter. Really stressed and whining and thirsty and his bladder was full. So, in summary: Things I had to do when getting home: Go to the store and get floor cleaner and carpet cleaner. Mop my apartment. Figure out how to clean my hand-woven rug of dog pee. Vacuum my couch. Go get my keys from another neighborhood. Would not rebook.
