Pet care experience
My parents were professional dog groomers for 20+ years so I grew up surrounded by at least 4 dogs at all times. I grew up wanting to be just like my parents and learned how to bathe dogs, give simple haircuts, trim nails, and do daily brushing. I also understand the importance of building trust between the animal I am handling before trying to do any advanced care. I've always had dogs and when I moved away from home for college, I got a job dog walking within the first semester so I could continue spending time with animals even while I was away. I dog walked for 1.5 years and also took care of cats and even rats during this job! I've adopted all the dogs I've owned and have a deep passion for animal welfare. I've always been the go-to person among friends and family to dog sit! I can't wait to get a dog of my own but I'm waiting until I feel settled in my career and life before committing to taking care of my own furry best friend.

Cheyenne was amazing! She was so reliable, sent lots of photos, and left our apartment sparkling clean! She even took the time to grab a package for us downstairs which was above and beyond! Cheyenne is fantastic! This was our first experience with Cheyenne. We were gone for 12 days and she stayed at our house with Scout. She took great care of her, gave her her daily meds and sent us lots of timely updates and photos! We returned to a happy dog and a very clean and tidy house - Cheyenne even dealt with some snow shoveling and put gas in our car. Great experience and we will definitely engage her again!
Cheyenne is great! My cat absolutely loved her and he got the best care and love and attention from Cheyenne! I personally appreciate so much how attentive Cheyenne is to details regarding pet care instructions. I absolutely recommend Cheyenne if you want the best sitter ever for your fur baby!

I have experience dog-proofing my house and will make the space extremely comfortable for your pups! I am happy to accommodate any habits or routines you have set for your pets. I live in an apartment near the Boston University campus in Allston. I would be happy to take your dogs to the park and walk them around the neighborhood. I live with my boyfriend and he absolutely loves playing with all my Rover pups. (Sometimes I think they like him more than they like me!)

- Does your dog have any special needs and routines they need to be accommodated for? - Are there any foods that they should NOT eat? (I have my own treats and peanut butter balls so please let me know if they shouldn't have any!) - Do they have any triggers (wheels, skateboards, loud noises, etc) - Do they do well with other dogs and new people? - How vocal is your dog? - Are they okay alone for short periods of time? (Only for errands or appointments that I can't bring a dog to) - I have a lot of stuffed toys and pillows, so if they are teething or have habits of chewing, I will be sure they only chew their toys or the dog toys I have! - Let me know if you are working on any training or discipline with your pets so I can continue their routines when they're with me. I'd love to practice their tricks with them!
A typical day
I would love to exercise your dogs' brains and bodies! One of my favorite things about dogs is how intelligent they are and how they interact with humans. I'll be happy to play games and take your dog out for exercise. I'm familiar with the neighborhoods I live near and know the best spots for your dogs to meet other dogs (if that's what they'd like to do)! I will give your dog all the attention they need by making sure they are stimulated throughout the day by taking them out for walks and making sure they feel loved in my home.

Availability
I am currently working from home so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets! I would be happy to board during the week and weekends if you're going away for a trip. Since I'm working from home I can also house-sit during the week. I am free for dog walks after work hours on weekdays and all day on weekends. *Extra charges:* Sitter pickup fee - $15 round trip Owner drop off before 8 am or pick up later than 8 pm - $5
