Since a ripe age, I knew that my passion was dogs. I love all dogs of all shapes and sizes because of the unconditional love and loyalty they give. I love my pets because they are my children, and it is my honor to get to take care of them and fulfill their needs. Dogsitting gives me a great opportunity to provide pups with love and care when their owners are away, and I love bringing new friends into our family! Doing a meet & greet is the perfect time for me to make sure I am catering to every need that the parent provides. I make sure their routine is not impacted by their parents absences. I also love making treats that are good for them, considering allergies and any other issues their parents divulge (upset tummies, allergies, coat quality). I also love sharing pictures and stories with owners while they are away so they feel at peace that their dogs are in the best care possible. Every weekend together will be filled with long walks at the park, watching Animal Planet on the couch, and a little pampering! I love giving pups baths and even trimming their nails a bit. We would end each night (after a dinner of course) with a nice stroll and maybe even some ball time before tucking her in! I have lived in Austin for a little over a year but this city is so huge! I always ask the owners what parks they usually venture to to keep the dogs comfortable. I do like taking my dogs to Zilker park, since I love being near the water! Walking the trails at Zilker park and putting my toes in the water with a doggie pal is always fun. Anything to get some energy out so we can have a good afternoon nap.
