Boarding our fur babies can be nerve-wracking and anxiety inducing. You want to make sure that your pet has a great and safe time while you are away! Rest assured, that my family, including our own animals, will have lots of love (and experience) to give! I have 20+ years of experience with dogs. I grew up with a black lab, two chihuahua-dachshund mix, a border collie, and a blue-tick hound. Back in my home town of Tampa I would volunteer at local animal shelters to clean cages, walk dogs, and feed animals. While there I also held annual fundraisers to raise money for said animal shelters. I also worked at a pet resort here in Orlando for a few years which provided me with experience handling 20+ dogs at once. I have training on medicating, feeding, cleaning, playing and enforcing rules with dogs. I also have been provided training from Todd on the Animal Planet show “Dog Whisperer”. Currently I work part time, which means I have lots of free time to spend loving your fur-babies! IMPORTANT FOR PET BOARDING: I live in a house with a fenced yard! Your fur babies will get lots of love and play time. I do have three animals myself. I have 2 older cats and 1 female dog. I require that all animals who board with me must be spayed/neutered and up to date on their shots. I also live with my partner, Kevin, and long time friend, Naomi, who are animal lovers as well. During the day, Kevin is an incredible artist who works in a variety of mediums, mainly paint. When he isn't working on becoming the next Dali, he uses his big heart to love on every animal and make sure they have a great time (and he is full of as much energy as a lab! Which means he will play fetch with pups for HOURS). My long time friend and roommate, Naomi, is a nurse and mom of the 2 older cats that live with us. She absolutely loves getting to come home after a day at her hospital and cuddling for hours with fur babies. So again, rest assured that in our home there is lots of love to go around! Your fur baby will be treated just as one of our own while they are here. :) Which usually means they end up sleeping on our bed under the covers with us LOL.
