Hello friends! I'm beyond excited to meet and befriend your fur family! When I go away for a period of time, we always have the same girl come and look after all of our fur babies while we are away. The peace of mind, that all of our kids at home are being properly loved and cared for, is worth so much more than money can pay for. Since I can remember, I have owned, cared for, and loved, a variety of different animals creating some relationships closer than my actual family! Throughout my life, I've always found my happiest workplace was when I was working with animals in one way or another. For a year I cared for a farm of six horses, duties which included daily feeding, stall cleaning, and turnout, twice a day. I've worked as a Veterinary Assistant for Dr. Wilson's Veterinary Clinic, where I expanded my knowledge on basic restraint holds, how to administer oral medications effectively, and basic canine behaviors. When I was attending and completing my Bachelors degree at Alma College, I maintained two jobs, one being at State Road Animal Hospital as a Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant for our Emergency Clinic, and the second job i was a sales associate at Red Bird Pet Food Center. With the combination of my diverse animal background, one thing has remained consistent: I love taking care of animals and learning anything I can about whatever I can related to animal health and care.
