Dog mom looking to help out others!

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Cheyenne, and I currently have two doggies of my own. I’m looking to make a little extra money while I’m in nursing school, and this seems like the best way to do it! I have had dogs and cats my entire life, and I even cared for my three during the last 2.5 years of getting my first undergraduate degree (as well as caring for my three dogs for the last year and a half during nursing school, which sadly included providing end-of-life care for my puggy boy, Waddles). I have experience with multiple breeds, from toy breeds, to dogs 100+ pounds! Ideally I am looking to dog/cat/house sit, & dog walk during the day/night, as long as no overnight stays are required (since I have my own pups). If you have any questions, please feel free to message me and I’ll be happy to answer them! I want you to feel as safe as possible with hiring me to care for your fur babies, so I prefer to do meet-and-greets before confirming any bookings. Hope to hear from you (:

Cheyenne would be fantastic friend for your pet to have! She is responsible, caring, attentive, and compassionate. Cheyenne also has plenty of experience as a pet parent, having three dogs herself. One of her own dogs requires medication regularly and another of her dogs is anxious and easily disturbed, so Cheyenne also has plenty of experience tending to specific care needs of a particular pet. Overall Cheyenne is exactly who I would call if I needed a petsitter and a dog walker because I can't think of anyone more loving of animals or more qualified for the job!

I highly recommend Cheyenne because she has always been an animal lover and treats all animals like her own. She has a lot of experience taking care of animals and watching over them. She is very caring and reliable when it comes to taking care of someone’s loved pets. She would be a great fit! Please consider Cheyenne ❤️

Cheyenne has watched my animals several times. She also watched my mother's cats. She is responsible, knowledgeable, and a has a very strong work ethic. Cheyenne grew up around all kinds of animals from livestock to pets, and she knows a great deal about how to care for various animals. She is very good about keeping the house in good condition, and making sure that all animals are accounted for and in good health. I highly recommend her.

Cheyenne is the absolute biggest dog lover! She has 3 dogs of her own and is the best dog mom to them. Her dogs are basically her children, and she would do anything for them. She puts them first and takes incredible care of them. Cheyenne has the biggest heart and is extremely responsible, which is why I believe she would be an amazing dog sitter!

Safety, trust & environment

I pay close attention to leashing, harnessing, and safety of dogs when out for walks! It is my biggest fear that one of my dogs escapes when somebody is watching them, so when watching dogs for other people, I am meticulous about their safety. I always “undress” my dogs when I leave them alone to prevent collars/clothes from catching on furniture or a crate. I avoid feeding them when I’m gone for prevention of choking, but always make sure they have fresh water and “dog tv” playing to help drown out some anxiety-provoking noise from our neighbors.

Information cheyenne-price8 would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has special needs, if they are dog-reactive and/or stranger-reactive (incase we encounter other dogs or people on our walks), if they need any special care, or any other details you want me to know! No amount of information is too much- tell me everything!

A typical day

Anything you want, we will do! A typical day for my own dogs is morning potty breaks, medications, breakfast, and then a day full of playing, puzzle games, and snuggling. We typically do not take walks until the morning sun has melted any frost (my dogs have sensitive paws), but if you prefer early morning walks for your own pup, that works too!
