Pet care experience
I am a newly Certified Dog Trainer that has been walking dogs for over 3 years. I decided that since I was training them anyway, I might as well get educated on the subject! Dogs need socialization and walkies are a big part of their world. I love and protect your animals like they were my own. I have three rescued cats at home and work with dogs in my neighborhood. The Dog Families have seen a positive impact on their dogs since I’ve been walking them! It’s important to enrich the dogs life and let them explore, exercise and smell the flowers! Chevi Redding is a remarkable person she has been walking my 14 year old dog, Abbey for the past 6 months. When they first started walking, Abbey could only go for 5 to 10 minutes, they are now up to 30 to 45 minutes. Chevi loves Abbey as much as I do and I have complete trust in her to do whatever is best for Abbey. Chevi takes her cues from Abbey as to how far she walks, what her favorite places are and introduces her to new human and animal friends. Chevi is in control when walking Abbey and recognizes issues before there is a problem, (like cats or squirrels). She sings and talks to her friends during rheir walks. I can't believe Abbey and I are so lucky to have Chevi in our lives!
Chevi has been an absolute life saver for my household! It is such a relief to know she’s coming to give my little monster a much-needed solid hour of good exercise. She bonded with my little guy so quickly . . .he stands by the door waiting for her each day, and watches out the window as she leaves. Chevi sends pictures of their walking adventures – she varies the routine from day to day to keep it fresh. It is clear to me that Chevi loves and understands dogs, and dogs lover her! I also notice that my guy is learning his commands faster since Chevi started spending time with him – a great side benefit! Overall, a 5-star rating. Chevi also house-sat for my cat while I was away for a week – 5-stars for that, too!
I have never met anyone with a deeper caring for animals than Chevi. Animals are her world, especially dogs and cats! She just has a way of connecting with them that is unique and hard to find. Chevi has helped me several times over the years by walking my dog. Recently, she even took in and boarded my sulcata tortoise for several months while I was away. She took great care of little Rocky and kept me connected by sending me pictures and videos of him. If you're looking for someone that cares about your pet as much as you do, Chevi will!

I would need to know if they are: aggressive toward other dogs or cats etc, nervous or lack confidence (socialization issues), have been fed, have medical issues, the age of the dog, if the dog has the knowledge of basic obedience skills, is frightened of bikes, cars, skateboards or the UPS man and has basic leash skills. I can assess some of these things before the walk at the meet and greet.
A typical day
Since I have some training experience, I like to teach my dogs new tricks depending on their own unique gifts. For dogs that get Adventure Walks in the car, The Urban Forest is great! The sniffing is epic! I also mix things up on my 3-5 a week dogs so that they never get bored.
