Cheryl was absolutely awesome. I felt 100% comfortable with her taking care of my 17.5 year old dog. She sent regular updates and was very timely with correspondences. I would definitely use her again.

Cheryl was absolutely amazing she sent me pictures of my dog daily and even sent me a video. This was the first time we left our dog alone for such a long time But she made us feel very at ease. When we picked up our dog buddy he seemed very happy and comfortable around Cheryl and her husband . She even packed home a goodie bag filled with chew toys and treats for buddy which ...

Your dog will get so spoiled!

Your pup will have access to the entire house, including my couches, my bed (I even have stairs to the bed for the little ones....sheesh), a fully fenced yard, a nearby park and as many pictures as you want!

I'm also a veterinary technician, and very comfortable giving medication, SQ fluids or insulin injections if your dog has any special medical needs. (I also have instant access to the best veterinarians in the world ...

What Cheryl would like to know about your dog

Yes, I host multiple dogs from different families sometimes. I will only do this with both owners' permissions...and only if I think they will be compatible. I also don't host dogs together who I don't think are compatible (like a 10 lb senior with a 35 pound teenager). Don't take it personally if I can't host your pup one time around because it wouldn't be a good fit - please try me for the next time! Many repeat clients trust my decision, but I've got to get to know your pet first!

If your pet is currently coughing or sneezing, or has been sick or treated within the past three weeks for kennel cough or the canine flu - it's important to let me know. I can still host, I will just need to make sure that no one else's pets are present at that time.

I would like to know everything about your little friend! Does your dog have a favorite game, toy or treat? Does he or she go crazy over rides in the car? How does he or she normally "ask" to go out? Please share so I can make his or her stay that much more comfy!

On the opposite end of the spectrum, is your dog fearful of anything like vacuums, thunderstorms...does he or she get scared by being left alone? The more you tell me, the more I can make your pet's stay the best!

I do ask that you bring your own pet's food, along with basic feeding instructions. While I do always have food available, changing food for a pup can cause tummy issues. Also, PLEASE let me know if your pet has any food sensitivities, because I do offer bribes if for some reason your pup is too nervous to eat. The bribes can include peanut butter kongs, cat food (fine for dogs, but high in fat), and people food (usually chicken or cheese), or homemade food (chicken, rice and veggies). You need to let me know if you are not okay with that, which is fine, but please let me know in advance.

I don't have any breed preferences, however my cats get freaked out the bigger boys, so I can't host unless they are already confirmed cat friendly. I would consider larger, cat friendly, older dogs on a one off basis occasionally - if you do request me based on that please put it in your request.

Since the weather is all over the place - I use water and waterless shampoo if needed (I may also do a full bath if your pup decides to get extremely dirty). Let me know of any skin allergies in advance.

I do require any hosted furry types to be current on vaccinations and monthly flea treatments (even during the winter months). I do have Frontline available if needed for no additional fee, just let me know. If you have a senior dog who is no longer receiving vaccinations just due to his or her "seniorness", I also can understand that. Please let me know in advance.
