I have taken care of dogs for the past 15 years and can't imagine being without them. They are a great comfort, companion etc. I have 2 mini doxies that would love to play with your pet.

I would caution bringing your dog to this home. We dropped our perfectly healthy, 7 month old, German Shepard off at her house on a Friday evening. When we picked her up on Sunday afternoon, she was extremely tired and had bags under her eyes. One the way home, we noticed she wasn’t acting herself at all. For the next 26 hours, she was extremely lethargic, had bloodshot eyes, did strange things like forgetting where her water bowl was, not coming over for treats, not wanting to eat, and barely responded to anything. We took her to the Vet and they said this behavior was beyond just being tired from playing with other dogs. Not sure what happened here, but we will not be bringing our dog back to this home.
Our 12-yr old dog had a wonderful stay with Cheryl and her two dachshunds! Cheryl and her family were able to provide lots of attention and love to our old girl and were able to keep her separation anxiety at bay. We made our booking quite late, so we very much appreciated Cheryl's graciousness with our short turnaround. We think the dogs played very well together and would definitely stay with Cheryl in the future.
Cheryl was amazing! Shiloh had a good time with her dogs, would definitely recommend!

A typical day
We walk a lot in our area. No busy traffic. several parks nearby, we can take them to the beach, to gramma's farm, where ever they are most at home.

Availability
Summers we are available most of the time. Weekends are a toss up but check and see. We would love to have your dog visit and stay with us for a while. We do it all everyday anyway.
