Former Vet Tech is Home FULL-TIME

Pet care experience

My name is Cheryl, and although I am retired, I was a vet tech for years. I am home FULL TIME, so I can provide your dog the support and attention he deserves whenever you need to be away. For over 50 years I have been providing a safe, loving home for my own pets as well as my clients' pet. I am a conscientious, caring, and thoroughly responsible person on whom you can rely to be your "go-to" person whenever you have to be away. I share my home with my husband and our Boston Terrier, Mugzi, who welcomes other dogs into her home graciously and warmly. Since our senior dog was diabetic and blind before her passing, we installed ramps down to our large, secured, grassed and shaded back yard. We would love to care for your pet in our home or yours. My husband Wayne and I look forward to hearing from you! So give me a shout-out! You AND your dog will be glad you did!

We had Cheryl over for drop in visits while we were out of town for the weekend. Our dogs are not used to being away from home or without us for long so this worked out so much better than kenneling them. Cheryl took pics and gave us updates during each visit. This helped us feel better about being away. Thank you, Cheryl!

I could not have been more pleased. My dog seems to feel similarly. Thank you to Cheryl and her husband for caring for Ava as if she were your own.

Cheryl did an awesome job for us during the christmas holiday break. Our Willow instantly took to her with hugs and kisses. She is very caring and kept us updated with daily messages and pictures which we appreciated so much. Willow is on some what of a special diet and Cheryl was more than willing to go the extra mile in preparing her food each day. We will definitely ask Cheryl to pet sit for us again in the future.

The environment and the care are top notch. We had so much more peace of mind leaving our dog with Cheryl than we have ever felt when using a boarding company.

Information Cheryl J. would like to know about your pet

As a former Vet Tech, I can care for any breed or size of dogs, so long as they will be kind and gentle with our Boston Terrier, Mugzi. I have also gone to the home of clients to care for their pocket pets, amphibians, cats, dogs - and even monkeys! I am able to administer both topical, oral, and injected medication if your dog requires it. However I do charge $2 per injection.

A typical day

I am both a professional and a "soft heart." My focus will be on your pets' well-being. I focus on the pet's emotional, social, and physical health. I "GET IT!" You feel worried and guilty when you have to leave your pets. It is my job to send you off without a care in the world, knowing that everything and everyone will be fine until you return.
