Pet care experience
I've had a love for dogs my whole life and grew up with several dogs of my own. After years without a dog, my life is complete once again. My sister Amy and I have been sharing our home with a spirited Chorkie named Sasha for the past 8+ years and adopted a Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix named Sadie almost 7 years ago! I live within 3 miles of Southpark Mall in Lansdowne, and would welcome your dog in my home for overnight board and care as well as daycare. My sister Amy passed away in Feb 2021 so its just me and the dogs now. If you are looking for someone to provide care for your precious pups while you're away on vacation, I can accommodate and will do my best to treat them like family! Our home is almost always full of furry friends so be sure to book early! Rover is my full time job and I am home most of the day, unless I have an appointment or need to run errands. Otherwise, I am here and provide care all day and night. I have daycare dogs at least 3 days per week and several who are here on a regular basis every week. I have gotten a lot of new business lately and have many repeat clients so I have reserved the right to accept more than my stated max, with most weeks having 8-15 dogs. I feed the dogs in shifts or in different rooms, provide access to the yard all day, and walk them as able (depends on the # of dogs.) There's usually a group who are regulars and know each other so it's like a furry family reunion most days!

That was a first time we left Mike overnight for two days without us! Cheryl was absolutely amazing and took great care of Mike 🥰 She sent lots of Mike pictures 🙌
Nice, dead-end street in a nice neighborhood. Cheryl was hosting about 12 other small doggies on the evening we dropped off our Rat Terrier while we attended a nearby wedding ( we were visiting Charlotte having driven from Massachusetts). Cheryl's communication was excellent and greatly appreciated.
Cheryl loves dog, I couldn't find a best place to leave my 7 months puppy. Thank You Cheryl.

If your dog can be trusted NOT to chew/destroy furniture or belongings, they are fine to stay out if we leave. If they are normally crated or are destructive, they will need to be crated.
A typical day
I try to maintain as much "normal" as possible. If your dog is accustomed to sleeping in bed, they can sleep in bed. If your dog likes an afternoon walk or play time after dinner, I try to keep their schedule as close to home as I can. Your dogs will be loved on and treated like family so there won't be stress for you or them while you're away. And we'll send photos and updates daily so you can rest assured that your fur baby is enjoying their vacation as well! I am laid back and will pamper your furry babies, giving them lots of love, attention and play time, as well as exercise or short walks as time allows. I have a diabetic, nearly blind Chorkie at home who loves most all dogs and people. My Chi/Jack is a rescue and is a little tentative around new dogs. Therefore, I'd like to arrange a meet-up before agreeing to do an overnight in my home. We have a fully fenced yard and our neighborhood is perfect for an afternoon walk or an after-dinner stroll. I no longer do drop-in service during the day in YOUR home and I am not available to stay overnight in your home. I'm willing to provide extras like a bath! Your baby will be cared for well.
