Pet care experience
My name is Cheryl and I am a wife and mother of 3 college students. Our family absolutely loves and adores animals. We have more animals in our home than people and we wouldn't want it any other way. My schedule is extremely flexible and I am able to come and go as needed for the most part. In our home, we have 4 four legged friends and we love them dearly. We have 3 dogs and 1 cat. All of our pets are routinely cared for by our vet and are current on all vaccinations. They are also on flea/heartworm preventative. All of our pets are spayed/neutered as well. I will ask that your pet also have all current vaccines and be on flea and tick preventative for the protection of my pets. Please be able to provide your pet vaccine information prior to your stay :) We live in Canal Winchester, we have a fenced in yard and our home is very pet friendly. There are dog beds in every room and toys to play with. Safety is key when we are pet sitting because you never know what another pet may want to get into. We are very proactive in making sure that your pet is watched and loved like we would want our own pets to be in another's care.

This was our first trip ever leaving our pup - Cheryl was awesome, she sent pictures and text messages she made us feel comfortable. we would leave him again with Cheryl
Token had a great time with Cheryl, her husband and the fur pack. I received photos of him daily including one of him and several dogs singing his favorite, Old MacDonald....... Will definitely call Cheryl the next time Token has to stay in Columbus while i am away.

A typical day
My sitting style is very relaxed but I will stick to your schedule. I know that when the owner leaves it is a bit of concern for the dog because they are being left with someone they don't know. I know that a schedule will help your dog know that everything is okay. If your dog is fed at specific times of the day, it will continue to be fed at those times when I sit for them. Walks can be done in my neighborhood that is very dog friendly or we can go to the local dog park and have a nice fenced in area to play with other dogs. I also have a fenced yard that your dog can play in with my dogs under my supervision. Your dog will sleep wherever he is accustomed to sleeping, whether that be in a bed with a human or in his own bed. If your dog is crate trained then he will sleep in his crate if that is what he is used to. I am home pretty much every hour of every day. I work from home so my schedule allows me to play with your dog whenever wanted. My dogs love to sit in my office with me and sleep while I work. We are a very relaxed home with plenty of hands to pet and love on your friend and I assure you that your dog will be loved just as much as we love our own. I am pretty laid back but I also understand the need to maintain a schedule, especially for the sake of the pets. I know that pets expect their food at certain times and when their pet parent is away being fed and played with is important to them as it assures them everything is okay. If I am just stopping in to feed and play with your pet, I typically try to stay at least 30 minutes or more if requested so that I can have time to play with your pets and make sure they are doing okay. I give them time to eat and to take them to use the potty if need be. I also have been known to sit a while and watch tv so that the pet can snuggle up and get some good loving. I know that pets depend on their humans to provide for them and when their humans are away this can be a very scary experience for them. I will do whatever I need to do to make them more comfortable while you are away.
