Pet care experience
Growing up, I was always a avid pet lover, so it was only natural that I started taking on pet sitting jobs...due to word of mouth and wonderful references, I have been able to follow my passion and pet sit different pets from birds, hamsters, cats and dogs! Volunteering for the Humane Society, I was exposed to all types of cat / dog personalities and sizes. I have found that my work with rescue organizations have increased my love of animals even more. I have pet sit very small to very large pets in size and personalities. I pride myself on being extremely responsible, loving and filling each pet's needs when I am with them...whether it's belly rubs, walks, or even administering any meds that they might need. When I pet sit, in addition to giving the pets I am sitting lots of love and attention, I text photos and give daily updates, so you can rest assured that your pet is always being well-taken care of. :-)

Cheryl is an EXCELLENT dog caregiver. Bailey, our big 10 year old Golden Retriever loves her so much! I know Cheryl loves him. Bailey has several health issues that require vigilance and being a Golden, needs to feel love and included. Cheryl is more than up to the task! She follows our instructions responsibly (there are A LOT of them) and shows patience and love towards Bailey with sincerity and happiness. She'll text us photos of the two of them to allay our worries. It's such a comfort and relief to come home from a trip and see that Bailey's separation anxiety is nil; that he is healthy and happy because Cheryl has given him the love, care, attention and reassurance he needs. We've been lucky to know Cheryl going on 2 years. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I would like to know the dog's personality. Does he get along with other dogs? That is important when you take a dog for walks or a dog park. Also, does the dog have any physical limitations? Where are some of the favorite places the dog likes to go and what are some of the favorite things the dog likes to do?
A typical day
The type of walks are dependent of the dog's physical capabilities. Senior dogs usually will just go for short walks around the neighborhood. More active dogs, I would take on walking trails and to the dog park. Mainly, I like the ask the owner what activities the dog likes to do and do that with the dog. I think it's important that a dog still gets to do the things he likes to do even in the owner's absence.
