YOUR DOG(S) GET TO BE THE ONLY PET
Pet care experience
45 years of experience as a pet mama! Now I no longer have my own pets, but I specialize in pets that are NOT pet friendly and need to be the only dog(s) in the home. I no longer book multiple dogs unless they are from the same family. That means your fur baby gets 100% of my time and attention all to themselves. They will enjoy a safe, secure pet-friendly environment with loads of 1 on 1 attention, pampering, and spoiling (sort of like a trip to grandma's house). They will definitely want to come back for repeat visits.

Cheryl F. cancelled a booking after the stay began.
Coming into town for Christmas, I wasn’t sure what we would do with our senior dog while we celebrated with my family with allergies. Cheryl was perfect! We had a video chat the week before and she’s clearly good with older dogs. I felt completely comfortable leaving him with her. She sent updates the whole day and kept him happy and healthy! Will definitely be using Cheryl again when we’re back in town!
Cheryl took care of our senior dog for the weekend and she was awesome! She sent pictures and updates throughout the weekend. Darcy came home happy and well rested. I highly recommend her.
My Boy Kenai had a great stay With Cheryl she was super friendly and informative of his stay with her

If this is your first time booking with me I would be glad to schedule a meet and greet at our home or a Zoom call prior to the date of your booking. I want you to feel comfortable with the arrangements. Important: I no longer take in pit bulls, cane corso's, mastiff's, or German shepherds because my homeowner's insurance doesn't allow for them.

Information Cheryl F. would like to know about your pet
Please advise if your pet has any special needs. I want to ensure they have the best care possible. I have some questions that will help me to facilitate a great overall experience: 1. Does your dog respond to any particular commands or words? 2. Do they give you any particular signals when they need to go potty? 3. Do they suffer from separation anxiety? 4. Where do they typically sleep when at home? 5. Is your pet food aggressive? 6. Is your pet housebroken? 7. Are there any medical concerns I should be aware of? 8. Is there anything that triggers your pet in a negative way? 9. Have they ever slipped their leash while on walks?
A typical day
A typical day at our home would include a good mix of indoor as well as outdoor activities. It's likely we'll be out there exploring and taking walks in the neighborhood. We also have an extra-large deck and a secondary downstairs concrete patio, so those two outdoor spaces make for good opportunities to catch a breeze and take a midday rest. We've got plenty of wildlife in our backyard (birds, squirrels, chipmunks, deer) so there's always something interesting to be seen. Additionally, our roomy house has plenty of spots for napping and relaxation. Our kids are all grown up, so it's pretty tranquil around here. My husband, daughter and I stay here (all adults), so it's a great place for shy pets to get acclimated.

Your dog(s) will be diligently cared for as if they were part of the family. They will receive customized care based on their temperament and energy level. For calm, quiet older pets I can provide them with a tranquil setting, plenty of warm blankets, and a lovely outdoor area to explore during potty breaks. Younger pets with plenty of energy will enjoy loads of playtime, outdoor adventure, and opportunities to explore. I'm looking forward to those walks around the neighborhood as well.
