Pet care experience
I recently lost my best friend in the whole world, my dog, Buddy. There is nothing I wouldn’t do to take care of & protect your loved one! I have had cats all my life and I had Buddy for 10 years. I’m not over the loss yet to get my own dog, but, miss one in the house. This would give me the best of both worlds. I get to meet new dogs/cats and help other people. I used to be in the same boat, it’s hard to find someone you can trust to take care of your animal with the same love and care as you would. You don’t have to look any further, you have found your girl. I can promise you that!! I work Monday through Friday 8 to 5 And have always had pets of some kind. Getting up early and coming straight home after work to take care of an animal it’s just part of my normal daily routine. Sometimes it’s the best part of my day and rings great joy to my life. I want to love and protect your fur babies just as you would do by maintaining their Normal schedule as Much as I possibly can. I also have a cam set up in my living room. So if need be I can check on them during the day from work.

Our dog Cherokee loves going to Cheryl’s house. She does a great job sitting for us whether it’s just a day or a whole week. Highly recommended!
Took wonderful care of my animals
First time we used Cheryl for our dog. Everything seemed good!
Cheryl took very good care of our cat. She sent daily pictures and when our cat came home, she seemed very happy. Cheryl was very responsive and kind. I’m sure our cat was very well taken care of. My only concern was that her page stated that her home was “non smoking” but when we picked up our cat, her fur smelled of cigarette smoke. So did her toys and bed. We had to shower her twice to get the smell out and we tossed out her toys. Cheryl said she wasn’t aware her profile didn’t say this and said she would update her profile and was profusely sorry about this. She didn’t seem aware that her profile didn’t say this and seemed genuine. Just be aware that it is a smoking house hold (at the time we booked).

I would want to know if they have any special needs, and their eating habits, sleeping habits, likes, dislikes, do they get along with other animals that we might run into taking our walks. Are there any little quirks that I need to watch out for. Do you want to be updated daily? Do you want pictures? And very important are they being treated for fleas/heartworm.
A typical day
I want them to feel as if they are on I’m vacation too!From running around the fenced in yard, taking nice walks (in the neighborhood are going to the metro parks) or just playing tug-of-war. Whatever I can do to make this stay enjoyable and safe.
