Reliable dog sitter available in Linlithgow

Pet care experience

I've been working through Rover as a pet sitter for 6 months. I specialise in dogs who do not get on with other dogs or children, or dogs which are slightly anxious about being left alone. Past clients have commented on my ability to connect with their dogs quickly and allow them to feel safe + at home. One client commented "my dog is so much happier & better behaved" when he returned home. I live right across the road from a Linlithgow Loch which is perfect for dog walking on a lead. I also have a big back garden which is fenced on all sides so he/she can be let off the lead. Your dog will have plenty of outdoor space. I am a freelancer & work to my own schedule and hours so I'm flexible and will be working from home during the time I take care of your dog. I've always loved animals and had pets, I have never owned a dog so far because I'm concerned about the long term commitment with me working & travelling. I like working as a Rover Dog sitter because I can experience being a dog owner for short periods of time. I'm reliable, honest & a friendly, easy going person who will take care of your dog properly, ensuring he/ she is well exercised, is kept safe & receives plenty of cuddles. I also don't have any children or any other pets so you don't need to worry about your dog getting on with the others. Extra info: > There is a 2 day minimum to encourage longer stays > I have specialised pet sitting insurance in the unlikely event that something happens -- there is also a vet within 5 minutes walk from my flat > I am currently studying an 8 week course on animal behaviour & welfare at Edinburgh University

My Yorkshire terrier can be a little nervous and is usually feisty on meeting new people. However and very surprisingly, he took to Cheryl immediately and even allowed her to stroke him on first contact! I immediately felt assured that Cheryl was going to be the right person to look after Zoso while we spent some time in Spain. He responded so well to Cheryl's quiet and calming disposition and she successfully managed to get our uber fussy dog to eat while we were away (some task!). On our return, we found him to be relaxed and happy. We rarely leave our dog with anyone but Cheryl kept us reassured of his well being with regular texts and pictures. I would have no hesitation in leaving Zoso with Cheryl in the future and would definitely reccommend her services to anyone. Thank you Cheryl for allowing us to have a stress free holiday!

Oscar loved his recent stay with Cheryl and his holiday to Linlithgow. Cheryl ensured that he was settled and that all his needs were met. He especially loved his long walks and one on one time. Cheryl also provided us with daily updates to let us know what adventures Oscar had been on that day and how he was doing. It’s been a pleasure meeting Cheryl, and Oscar looks forward to future stays should we need a doggy sitter again in future. Thanks again Cheryl! X

My terrier, Jack, had a lovely stay with Cheryl. He was very relaxed as soon as he walked into her home; lying down and chilling out straight away! Cheryl was great with him - she's clearly a real dog-lover. She is ideally situated for very nice walks, and took real care to make sure that Jack got plenty of exercise and attention. My mind was also put at ease by regular updates (including photos) from Cheryl. I was so delighted with how Jack's stay went that I have already booked him in for next year!
