Pet care experience
I’ve had pets my whole life, and I love all sorts of critters but dogs tend to like me best. I have a little dog named Scooter and two cats named Latté and Basil. I’m always happy to help people care for their pets, particularly with walks or drop ins.

Cherokee was absolutely amazing! Our dog is an escape artist and so Cherokee stayed at our place to take care of him. He was missing us (and showing grief in the form of anxious vomit) and Cherokee handled it all so well by giving him lots of love and care. My flight delayed me by a day, and they were kind enough to adjust the schedule and stay longer. It made me feel at ease knowing my dog was well looked after. The communication was also just the right amount to keep me updated and enjoy pics of my dog from afar. Afterwards, our place was just as we had left it. Cherokee is the best!!
Cherokee did a fantastic job with Charlie. I loved getting daily updates and pictures of him. I greatly appreciated that Cherokee proposed a meet-and-greet prior to our booking to make sure that we could discuss his needs in person and ensure he was comfortable around Cherokee. Charlie has some medical needs that Cherokee was both willing and able to deal with. I'd be more than happy to rebook in the future and would recommend Cherokee to anyone considering a reliable, trustworthy pet sitter.

She went above & beyond. I was in a bind and needed someone last minute. She wasn't just empathetic to my situation, but really cared about my needs and genuinely cared about my dogs. She gave them lots of walks because they weren't feeling well and even cleaned up when they were sick. Highly recommend!

I live in a studio and my priority is keeping my pets safe and happy, which is why I don’t provide boarding or day care at this time. For your pet, safety is my #1 priority as well. I’d love to take some time to meet you and your pet before a service, so I can learn as much as possible about their needs and routine, and start building a relationship with you both.

Every dog is different, so I’ll make sure to learn their preferences and needs. As applicable, I’d love to know their feeding schedule, frequency of potty breaks, how often they get treats, any medications needed, and what I can expect from them personality-wise.
A typical day
Walks, play time with toys, lots of cuddles, and maybe practicing tricks if that’s what they enjoy! I love exploring neighborhoods and parks so guaranteed we’ll be getting out a bit.

My schedule is fairly flexible. I’d love a few days notice, but I understand life is sometimes unpredictable, so if you need same-day or next-day service please feel free to ask though I may not always be able to accommodate it.
