Rescue Moms Do It With Love

Pet care experience

I work from home and I also rescue dogs and cats whenever I am lucky enough for one to find me. My house is Fully secured, 11 security cameras, tended to day and night. The previous owners of this house said they didn’t lock their doors for 20 years. . It's a fabulous neighborhood. I will never use cages/kennels. Our dogs eat Quality human grade food only, have clean bedding, quiet, comfortable safe place to veg out. I am the founder of Anchors Up Rescue Group, a 501c3 non-profit that provides for senior, medical and special need dogs. Most of the proceeds help to pay our rescue dogs medical bills. Please note: Drop offs and pick ups must be scheduled. I ask that you adhere to the schedule time to allow me to have your pet ready wothout disrupting the flow of the day. Please call from the driveway. Never never never come and knock on my door unannounced. That's upsetting to the pups. I cannot accept: Any dog over 20 pounds Unaltered dogs Puppies under 1 yr old Dogs that do not get along with Cats Dogs that bark *alot* (barking at a knock on the door is fine. However, I have an Epileptic dog here who absolutely can not handle constant barking) We highly prefer and enjoy quieter senior pups! If your pup is staying for more than one night, please bag up their food and label it. Like most pet parents, I felt guilty leaving my babies at home while I went to work. So I worked hard and now I get to work from home. All the animals chill on my bed with me while I am on the computer working. Not only do I provide 24 hour care, but I rescue dogs. I know the unconditional love our furbabies deserve. I don't believe in cages or kennels. I have a nice big house to run and play fetch, and a huge yard for leisurely strolls. Even though I have plush dog beds everywhere, your baby will probably be sleeping with me. I provide exercise, playtime, and quiet, safe comfortable nights. I can administer meds, I even have amenities for shy dogs or pups recovering from surgery. But really...I understand it's hard to leave them. but it’s a lot easier to swallow when you know they’re not gonna be lonely or bored or sad like if they were boarded somewhere at a vet. And let’s be honest, they deserve to be pampered.

We loved working with Cherie. I was very nervous leaving my little guy for two nights in Las Vegas but I was more worried about leaving him alone in a hotel room. He gets a little anxious. Cherie knew we were coming in late from out of town and worked with us to drop him off a little later than ideal. When we arrived there were several little dogs running around. She introduced Jaxx and we walked around her very nice yard and he seemed to be okay when we left just a few minutes later. She sent us updates and pictures the whole time he was there. Cherie had good control of the dogs. Her home was very dog friendly with more dog beds than human furniture. We would definitely use Rover again and if in Las Vegas, Cherie for sure! She is an avid dog lover with a kind heart.

I was really freaked out about leaving my dog with a stranger, but Cherie was great. I made sure to look around and check her place out before leaving. Lots of happy little dogs there. I liked that they were all little because you never know about large dogs and what can happen. Place was clean and everything was gated, including the swimming pool. She sent photos every day and stayed in touch. I would definitely use her again and highly recommend this woman.

This was the first time we’d left our dog with a stranger, and I was naturally apprehensive. Needn’t have worried. Poochini felt at home and made friends with Cherie and her dogs. Cherie is a dog lover and has a great home for dogs to play, be dogs, and have fun. Cherie sent us photos and a wonderful video of the dogs playing together. We knew our Poochini was in good hands. Highly recommend Cherie. We will definitely be seeing her again!

Cherie was great! She sent pics and updates daily of Koko & Tramp. They were accepted into her home as if they were her own:)

I have years of experience with small dogs, and when they come into my home, they feed off the vibes here. It's very calm and relaxed. So they are very calm and relaxed. I will be accepting dogs 20 pounds or less. Breed Restrictions: No Overnight Boarding or Doggy Day Care for Dobermans, Pit Bulls, American Mastiffs, Bull Mastiffs, Newfoundlands, Bull Dogs, French Bull Dogs, Great Pyrenees, or any breed containing the word "bull.". I do not have anything against these dogs, however they tend to be a lot more active then the senior dogs that I have here. • If your dog has extreme separation anxiety with excessive whining/scratching/barking, please let us know ahead of time. Just imagine the chaos and commotion that ensues when someone knocks on our door. We run a very tight ship that is also very comfortable and peaceful for your pets as well as ours.
