We love Cheri!! We have never used an in-home dog sitter before, and looked into it since we were going to be gone for 10 days. We discovered the price wasn't too outrageous compared to kenneling - we would opt to pay for additional services such as all day play yard/tv room time at the kennel anyway. Normally, when we picked up our dog from the kennel she was pretty wild and amped out, and slept for the next day or two. When we picked her up from Cheri's, she was so relaxed! She came home her happy energetic self. Ginger is almost 7yrs old, a medium sized rescue dog, sweet, shy, well behaved, but does not like bigger dogs. She tolerates them in an outdoor leash free environment, but not inside a home. We confirmed that Cheri wouldn't have any bigger dogs while they cared for Ginger. In fact, Cheri later asked us if it would be okay if they had another dog for part of Ginger's stay, a sweet small dog they'd cared for before. We appreciated her thoughtfulness in asking first. Cheri was thorough in our meet and greet and her questionnaire. Her lovely home is very dog friendly. Ginger enjoyed the nice large fenced backyard with her new dog friend, always supervised. They enjoyed hanging out there with Cheri and Mike while they gardened. Cheri or Mike was always home with her. She went for car rides (asking first if Ginger liked car rides), she went to the park and for walks. We got picture and text updates, too. We highly recommend Cheri and will leave Ginger with her again!

Our 4 year old shi-tzu Bamse, loved to stay with Cheri and Mike! The second time we had him stay with Cheri and Mike for a few days, he didn't even have time to say goodbye when we were leaving him. They just loved Bamse as if he was their own puppy. Our dog loved their spacious fenced garden and most of all the attention that Cheri and Mike gave him. Cheri and Mike became true friends with our little dog. Sadly, we had to move back to Sweden, but we do hope we get visit from Renton! Don't hesitate to use Cheri as a dog caregiver, your pet will be in the best care and you can enjoy your vacation, as we could. Regards Angelica V.
