Wholesome whirlwind romance!
Pet care experience
My friends call me Lup- and if you're not sure how to pronounce that, just think of this handy rhyme: Lup Scoops Poop! I believe in love at first sight because I have fallen in love with every animal I've ever met. My service area is New Jersey only. I am currently available for drop-ins and walks in early mornings, mid-afternoons, and early evenings in: Beverly, Edgewater Park, and parts of Delanco and Willingboro. Unfortunately I can't accommodate Pennsylvania pets. I've had dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, and reptiles my whole life, and worked as a veterinary receptionist and technician for 5+ years. I own special needs animals, so I am definitely very willing to help care for your special needs animals. I am comfortable giving prescribed medications if your furry family member needs. If you want me to check in on any of your scaley or feathery loved ones while I'm caring for your pup or kitty, let me know! I'd love to do so. My life revolves around animals! In between pet care appointments (drop in visits, dog walks, overnight stays, etc), I am also a freelance and commissioned artist, specializing in pet portraiture. As earlier mentioned, I am currently able to accept new appointment/new client requests for drop-ins and walks in the early morning, mid-afternoons, and early evenings. I was a veterinary technician for about 5 years so I have a working knowledge of basic animal husbandry and safety rules of thumb. As such, I primarily offer services with just myself and your pet(s), in your home, yard, or walking in your neighborhood. Because some of my own animals have their own special needs, I do not bring your pets or any of the animals I take care of into my home. I also typically avoid mixing pets from different households together unless special requests have been made by the pets' owners. In my own experience, the best way to have a safe experience with a pet is to observe and respect their boundaries. This is the key reason I require that we have a meet and greet before the booking begins. If you have any additional safety concerns about having petsitting services for your pet, please feel free to let me know!

Information Cheri B. would like to know about your pet
I absolutely require a meet and greet prior to any dog services so that your dog(s) will be familiar with me when I enter your home when you're away. I will always want to know what your pet's medical concerns are, and who their primary and emergency vets are (just in case). From there, I want to know what they need to get from a visit and what you want them to get from a visit. ALL dogs in the home that I'm visiting must have a Rover profile, even if I'm only being booked to care for one. This is for insurance and Rover Guarantee purposes.
A typical day
Cats are my jam! For cat visits, I'll do the obvious food, water, and litter changes as well as hanging out for a bit to either play with toys or pet/snuggle your cat as their personality dictates. Dogs are a blast! For dog visits, I'll do the obvious food and water change plus the potty break, in your yard or on a walk, as needed. Then your dog (if healthy enough) can enjoy my terrible throwing arm or a game of chase. If your dog is a little stiffer and in need of some slower pace or lower-impact engagement, we can take a leisurely stroll and enjoy some tummy rubs.
