I have never known a household without animals. My personal experience is concentrated in owning small animals such as cats, dogs, rabbits, fish, and reptiles. I have also rescued various other animals including abandoned baby squirrels, injured wild rabbits, and deer trapped in ditches. I have raised multiple litters of kittens, many barely weeks old and many handicapped, and rehomed them appropriately. I have no issues going above and beyond to care for your pet and all of their needs. I have been pet sitting with Rover for a few years now, and have loved every minute of it! My professional experience involves working at a large dog daycare and boarding facility, handling upwards of 300 dogs on a daily basis, and I also received some experience in the animal hospital we operated with. I began working with their training department and have hosted many puppy classes as well as private sessions to deal with specific behaviors such as poor leash manners, dog aggression/reactivity, and general commands, etc. I also played a part in their communications department, sending daily email updates to boarding pet parents and taking and uploading hundreds of photos of our daycare pups to social media every day! As children, we are frequently asked what we want to be when we grow up. For as long as I can remember I have always responded with something animal related; veterinarian, trainer, wildlife biologist, and animal conservationist, to name a few. As an adult, I am asked what I am going to school for and my answer has not wavered. I will always maintain a job with animals in some form. ​About four years ago, I moved to North Carolina to pursue a degree in Animal Care and Management and build my dog training business. Due to personal family circumstances I am back in Michigan and looking to continue doing what I love; helping dogs and their owners connect.
