Compassionate, Loving and flexible!
Pet care experience
I'm currently a volunteer at an area shelter. I love to teach the dogs new tricks, brush them, etc. I completed my Pre-Veterinarian Assistant class with flying colors. I taught my rescue dog, "Noble" a Labrador/Shepard mix (85 pounds) to be a Therapy Dog. This took a lot of consistency and patience. We volunteered at a nursing home for over 7 years. I have a Comfort Canine Dog Certificate from Harper College in cooperation with Lutheran Church Charities. I had to pass many tests, discussions and demonstrate that I knew all 50 of their commands. I currently am qualified to can handle any of their trained Comfort Dogs. I have regular dog clients that have used me for years. Give me a try and see! Pets are precious and are taken care of first. I will follow your instructions on feeding, walking and regular routines. Your pet is my priority! I will follow your instructions for your fur babies while you're away. We can walk around the neighborhood or your backyard. Provide updates and photos based on your request.

Kind and compassionate to our pups! Will definitely use as much as possible :)
It is easy to see that Cher loves dogs. I had an unusual situation where I needed someone in the early AM (before 7) for several days in a row. Cher was very reliable-showing up earlier than requested and never late-which I really appreciated. She was flexible if I needed to cancel. Always very nice even in the early AM.
Cheryl did a great job caring for our 2-year-old shepherd mix while we were on vacation. Our dog is a little quirky and can get snippy with other dogs, so boarding for a whole week is not a great option as we know she wouldn't get the play-time she needs. Cheryl stayed in our home and took great care of our dog and house. She had all the challenges - high heat and lots of rain - but still found safe ways to get our pup's exercise needs met. She walked her, set-up the backyard kiddie pool for her and even had our dog's best friend over for a puppy play-date. Cheryl also cooked rice for our dog when her stomach was upset. She sent regular text updates to us with pictures (which our kids really appreciated!) and even texted with my sister-in-law and mother to coordinate a visit. We highly recommend Cheryl as a responsible, reliable, trustworthy and caring pet-sitter!
She also volunteers at Buddy Foundation walking, cleaning, feeding and providing tender loving foster care to dogs looking for a forever home. Deeply Loves Dogs.
