cats & dogs always brighten my day
Pet care experience
Hello, I'm Chenoa. I am a previous college track athlete so I like to be active and play other sports too but I also like being lazy and laying around the floor with my puppy, Perri. She is a lab mix and is extremely hyper, loves people, squeaky toys, cat toys, and my boyfriend's cat, Ahri. I grew up with dogs & cats but have only solely taken ownership & responsibility over my own puppy for about 4 years. Type of dog owner I am: I have almost starved & still used my money to buy Perri food & dog toys; I moved out of my first rental home to move into a pet-friendly apartment when I couldn't afford it (Perri was an outdoor dog, but I wanted her inside); I ran 3 miles a day with Perri just so she wouldn't feel antsy in her crate for 5 hours; And, I have so many photos of her I decided to make her a puppy Instagram. I treat Perri like an actual baby so much that my parents call me a single mom. I love dogs & cats and really believe they impact our life for the better.♡ Disclaimer: My husband and I are not qualified for any special training but if need be, you can always communicate with us before the stay and we can help accommodate you to the best we can. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio - we look forward to meeting you and your special pup(s)!

At our client's home, we make sure to keep your pet safe by being cautious in opening front/back doors, supervising inside and outside, and on walks, we usually avoid interaction with other dogs. Extreme Weather (lightning, flooding, extreme heat, ice): If a walk is booked during extreme weather, we will still try our best to take your pet out, but may refuse long walks if it is too dangerous and will stay inside for the majority of the visit or utilize the backyard instead. If that is not an option, we will wait for a safe time to go outside for a short period. Please let us know ahead of time if they have booties, raincoats, or jackets, and where they are located in the home so we can use them to keep your pet safer. Treats: I do not bring outside treats unless permitted due to unknown allergies, food diets, or because of the pet's personal preference for the taste and or size of the treat. If you have treats in your home that we can use, please let us know where they are and if they have a limit of how many they can have that would be very helpful! Other: Unfortunately, unless there is an emergency, we do not do car rides or transport animals to fun places nearby. This is my personal preference as I do not feel comfortable traveling with other pets in my car for safety reasons; we prefer to walk around the client's home instead.

Information Chenoa S. would like to know about your pet
What are they scared of (ex: strangers, loud noises, etc.)? Do they have separation anxiety? Are they leash-trained? Do they need to be crated when we leave your home? If need be, how do you discipline your pet (ex: certain word/sound, spray bottle)?
A typical day
We try to stick to what they love to do whether it be fetch, walks, tug-of-war, training (wanting all the treats!), or simply just petting them while snuggling on the couch. Let us know your pet's funny quirks and favorite things!

Availability
I can only accommodate certain time gaps for Rover clients since I currently work full-time and half of my work shifts are split shifts. It would be very helpful if you could give us specific time frames you need and we can tell you upfront if we can make that work or not.
