Pet care experience
I am a recent medical graduate, dedicated to ensuring that the humans and animals under my watch feel loved and well cared for! I grew up with a large dog (a doberman) myself and have raised three others (a samoyed, malamute, and blue-nosed pit/cane corso mix) from puppyhood. I also have experience housesitting older dogs with special needs and well-trained cats. I am extremely organized, so PLEASE, don't be afraid to provide me with plenty of instructions (I will surely appreciate it!). That being said, I promise to make the safety, comfort, and happiness of your pet my top priority while you're away!

Ruby had such a great stay with Chennah and Zak. They were very communicative and sent lots of photos and updates of Ruby. They were also easy to work with and flexible with pickup and drop off. Ruby looked very happy in her photos and when we picked her up. We would highly recommend Chennah! Thanks so much for a great stay!
Chennah was wonderful with our pup! Very responsive and sent us lots pictures and videos.
Could not recommend Chennah any higher! Chennah house sat with our two dogs for 2 weeks, which we were a little nervous about with that being the longest sitting we’ve ever needed to book. She quickly removed any anxiety with how great she was with the dogs and she was an outstanding communicator. We loved the photo and video updates. Came home to very happy dogs and a clean house! Will definitely be booking again!
Chennah helped me out with an overnight stay with about a week's notice. We fit in a meet and greet, communication was easy and my somewhat anxious dog looked relaxed and happy in the photos. I'd book Chennah again!

Unless otherwise requested, I’ll try to follow their normal routines, so nothing feels too out of place. I can provide plenty of pictures, videos, and updates so you’ll never have to worry. Any info you can provide to make your pet more comfortable while under my care is greatly appreciated! Please let me know about his/her favorite activities, snacks, how well they behave around other humans or animals, etc. Basic medical and grooming needs can be discussed, and I will be upfront about my confidence and ability in performing those tasks if I am not a good fit.
A typical day
I myself am a very active person, so if your pet needs more physical stimulation, I'm ALL for it! I love to play games both indoors and outdoors, offer rewards for good behavior (per the owner's guidelines), and reinforce newly learned tricks to engage them mentally. I like to take dogs on hikes or walk with them in public parks or in their own neighborhoods. If they are into [safely] socializing with other animals, I'm happy to give them a chance to sniff around and make new friends.

Availability
I've recently repatriated to the US after years of living abroad. While still in the process of settling back in to the country, I currently do contract work from home throughout the day. Therefore, my schedule on most days is quite flexible.
