Unfortunately, my experience with Chemere was not a good one. I booked house sitting for four nights. I now know she wasn't aware of what that entailed though she advertised that she provided the service. The meet and greet went well and I explained that it was OK to leave the dog for brief periods during the day, but I didn't want her alone for more than a couple of hours. I believe she followed the instructions I left for how to prepare my dogs food and administer her supplements. However, she did not remain at the house with the dog who is a recent amputee and requires closer supervision due to falls, etc. She slept there the first night and left after feeding her breakfast and taking her for a walk. She did not return until approximately 9 p.m. The dog was left alone the entire day. When I tried to text and call her, she did not respond/answer. When she did call back, she stated she didn't have time to actually stay at my house all day. I had to have my daughter come from a neighboring city to get my dog and then she refused to fully refund the remainder of my money because she has a cancellation policy. Fortunately, I have a ring door bell and a living room pet cam that will support my account of her absence to Rover when disputing my partial refund for the remaining days. Very disappointing.

Jax and Lily had a great time! I was updates during the day and notified of their behavior. This was our first time and Chemere put us at ease! I will definitely bring my pups back over to stay with Chemere
