Peace of mind for you & your pup!

Pet care experience

Hello. My name is Chelsy. Nothing would make me happier than to care for your furry friend! I absolutely love dogs and I aim to give you peace of mind knowing your pup is in good hands while you are away. Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself: I am 28 years young, single with no kids and I own my own home. I have a one year old Blue Heeler named Millie and she is my world. She is full of sass and has a never ending supply of energy. I have never not had a dog. Throughout my life I have had many dogs of many breeds, from a small Chihuahua to an extra large English Mastiff! I have been acclimated to a wide range of breeds of all ages but I completely understand each dog is unique and has their own personality and require care specific to their needs.

I 100% recommend Chelsy! She is super sweet and took good care of my puppy. She came beforehand to meet him and receive instructions, was very patient with a mishap on our side, and took plenty of pictures of my puppy so I knew he was safe and happy. Would definitely use again!!

I'm so happy I found Chelsy to watch Carlos. We scheduled a meet and greet before I booked, which was nice because anyone can seem fit on "paper." Getting to meet her and get a feel for her personality and watch her interact with both dogs helped me make my decision. Carlos seemed to stay with her when my husband and I dropped him off. She has a huge backyard and Carlos loved that! She sent me photo updates, which I loved. She was also responded to my texts, happy to answer any questions I had on how Carlos' visit was going. I will definitely book with Chelsy in the future!

Information Chelsy P. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know anything you feel is important for me to know or any special care instructions or strict dietary or disciplinary rules I need to stick by. I DO NOT have any breed restrictions. All dogs are welcome with open arms into my home. I do require that your dog be current on all vaccines, including rabies. Please provide for proof of vaccines if you dog is boarding with me or doing doggy day care at my home.

A typical day

DROP-IN-VISITS & DOGGY DAY CARE: Please reach out to me with specific care instructions for your dog(s). Communicate with me your wants and needs for these services and I will be happy to oblige. DOG WALKING: I can walk your dog in your neighborhood or take him/her to a park or even the dog park! I can walk your dog individually or I can bring my dog to walk train with another animal and for social interaction, whichever you prefer. DOG BOARDING: My home has a large fully- fenced back yard with plenty of room to play. I live within walking distance to a pond with a beautiful walking trail. I allow Millie (my dog) on the furniture- if your dog is allowed, he/she is more than welcome to join. If you do not allow that in your home, please let me know and I will respect your no-furniture rule. During your dogs stay, I will not allow Millie on the furniture also, as to not make your dog feel secluded. If your dog is boarding with me on a weekday, please note that I do work full-time. If your dog is potty trained and not a chewer, he/she is welcome to roam about my home while I am gone. If your dog is not quite potty trained and hasn’t left the chewing phase, I will either kennel him/her or leave him/her in my kitchen - whichever you prefer. Same rule applies here as with the furniture; my dog will not be allowed to roam free while your dog sits in a kennel. If your dog needed to be kenneled, Millie would be kenneled also. This would only be about 7 hours per day, (Monday-Friday) with an hour break in the middle. I come home for lunch (I only work about 3 miles from home) and I would let the dogs out, get them some water and let them stretch their legs out back for a bit. I also have a security camera that I can access 24/7 from my phone, so I can frequently check in on them. After work, I generally take Millie on a walk to the pond and we’ll usually stop and play fetch for awhile. If your dog is boarding with me, he/she will be joining us (unless specifically requested not to). If your dog boards or does doggy day care with me on the weekend, I will be home. I may leave for an hour or so if I have an errand to run but plan on me being home the majority of the time. Again, I aim to give you peace of mind while your dog is in my care so I ask that you reach out to me with any special care instructions or rules you have in regards to your dog. Also, if you would like to meet me or have our dogs meet before you leave your dog in my care, I am available. I do not have any breed restrictions but I do REQUIRE that you provide proof that your dog is current on all vaccinations, including rabies.
